This company RE-sells used items along with providing misinformation in their item description. They sell computer hardware that are not properly tested for quality. I had purchased a motherboard from this company through ebay, and i received it in a poorly packaged box without proper cushioning. I have paid for $7.99 shipping, and the label clearly said $2.71. Very disappointed. Unreliable phone service and horrendous customer support. I use the 30-day plan and refill it on my own. I've never come close to using all my minutes, but I frequently get messages telling me I'm out of minutes, even though my 30 days are not expired and their website indicates I have hours left in my account. I was double charged when I refilled my minutes over the phone. I am now 30 hours into trying to get this resolved and I still have no results. Due to the double charges, I now have a giant amount of overdraft fees as I did not have an extra 46.08 in the account to cover the double charges. Now they will NOT make it right. I hate to be harsh but I find that the salespeople are LIARS. Here is my experience: I wanted a camera to take with me for Thanksgiving weekend. It started to have problems within the 1st month by just shutting down at random, the fonts and icons would change size dramatically and finally the screen has gone black permanently. My HP laptop has stopped working as a result of an NVIDIA faulty graphics chip. The HP Pavilion dv2799ea is now unusable unless I replace the motherboard. I am horrified to discover that lots of other models with the same problem have been granted a free replacement motherboard but my model is not on HP's list of products they are prepared to repair, therefore apparently I am not eligible for the 2 year extended warranty and repair. I took my Blackberry Bold in to have the latch on the back of the phone replaced and the screws to the phone tightened and one replaced. Because the screw was missing, the phone would power off and on when moved the wrong way. Whatever Computes is a website hosting company - operating in Regina/Saskatoon Canada. I paid for services for my website by giving them my credit card number. They made ficitious charges (almost $1000 worth) to my credit card and when I asked them to credit my credit card back, they refused, but offered the overcharge amount as prepaid services instead. I purchased a new Toshiba laptop in June of 2009. In November 2009, it had a mechanical failure in the power connector; it broke off and fell into the body of the unit. It was repaired under warranty then 4 months later failed in exactly the same way. There was no abuse of this laptop, just normal everyday use. Toshiba declined to stand behind their warranty repair, which was either performed incorrectly or using defective materials.
