Beware of Furrbcats - Barbara Lafferty misleading customers with Photoshop. We purchased a blue eyed white Persian kitten from Barbara Lafferty of Furrbcats a little over a year ago. Upon picking him up at the airport he looked nothing like he did on her website. I purchased a trampoline from this store online for Christmas. It had posted free s&h everywhere. I placed my order and noted the final s&h as zero. When I checked my bank account I noticed a charge for $150 for s&h, I contacted them and they stated that in the fine print it is noted some exceptions and the some exceptions would show up on the final invoice before submitting. This clinic charges outrageous fees. It is gut-wrenching to see emotional people fork out large amounts of money after being told their pet has to be euthanized or needs surgery etc. I watched two older people-in their eighties-already quite upset-be told that their fee was over $800 dollars to "treat" their dog. I paid $700 for a kitten that Jennifer Keller (formerly Smetanick) said was healthy. After my vet examined him, he said the kitten had ringworm and "severe malocclusion, " meaning his teeth would grow into his palate. If one kitten has ringworm, then all her cats have it.
