Company does not take action on complaints of harrassment in the workplace seriously. Once you go to HR with your complaint, you are in fear of your job and they eventually retaliate against you and push you out. They also don't hire people based on their knowledge and skills. If they don't like the way that they look like, speak or sometimes race, they won't hire them. You need to be able to fit into their beer drinking, name calling, offensive joke work environment. Okay. The minimum wage is now $7.25. I've been looking for an apartment now for the past two weeks. After I get into the door and hear all of the good things about the complex, then I hear that you must make at least 3 to 6 times the rent to be qualified for an apartment. Okay lets see. In a nutshell, they have you buy an overpriced appliance so you can get a 55% lifetime discount on already marked way up food. Ipurchased a barbecue grill from them and found out that a 1, 800 grill was actually costing me with finance charges around 5, 700.00 . What a savings! I called to cancel they made it very difficult. I finally got a cancellation number. Then they charged my card. Every time I called to get my money back their computer systems were down or when I would ask to speak to someone in charge they would say I would get a call with in 72hrs. and never would. Sheila claims her system of applying extensions are locs. They are not. She even claims them as "Goddess Locs" and she is the only person doing them. She switches her pricing continually and constantly tries to say you need a "redo" because then she can charge 375 to 750 depending on how many pieces in your hair. Recently, we went to the Danniella Lehavi store in Tel Aviv. We looked at wallets. Although the wallets were very expensive, we decided to buy them anyway, because we believed that we were supporting the local Israeli economy. WE WERE SPECIFICALLY TOLD THAT THE WALLETS ARE HANDMADE BY DANNIELLA LEHAVI in Israel. We do not usually spend so much money on wallets, over $130 US, but we made an exception to support Israel. IT is becoming further evident the unprofessional nature of the Kleiman Evangelista Office in Arlington, TX. Since having surgery 2 years ago, I have been back several times for followups. This company has lost all 3 female employees (in an 8 person company) in just over two months due to unfair practices. Company is likely in violation of the Equal Pay Act and exercised bullying and harassment of female employees when asking to work overtime hours without pay and when questioned about its unfair pay practices.
