Returning from a trip to France with no American change--just Euros, I made a 20 second call to my son to pick me up at a MARTA station. He never even answered and the charge was $25. 47. This is outrageous and unethical. I am glad I used my American Express because I will be disputing the charge. On November 12, 2007 we paid Meest Company to send shipment to Russia. They charged us Air fee, delivery fee, insurance fee and custom fee and promised to get our shipment to Russia in 2-3 weeks. It's been almost 5 month and our shipment is still not delivered as it was supposed to be. I called netzero to set up a dial up month to month service. I checked my billing status and found that netzero had signed me up for hi speed and a 12 month plan. I was also told I would be charged $25 dollars for cancellation. I have repeated their mistake numerous time. Netzero said I authorized this plan. I did not and never would. Netzero is ripping me off. I move often and have a very limited budget. During the conversation with the rep for netzero I repeated all the specifics at least twice. Month to month was agreed to. I emailed Yankee Candle customer support with my issue and received no response. So I'm going to post it here. I bought a Yankee Candle Fragrance Fan a couple weeks ago. I set it up per the instructions, and placed it on top of our TV in the family room. It worked great and smelled great. My husband and I paid Starlight Ranch/Jim Baird a $275 deposit in July 2007 and started paying board for our horse. We were actually saving our spot, since our horse did not arrive from out-of-state until the beginning of September. I order the upgrade from 5 to 10 megs download speed in the DSL Internet service form Embarq on March 18 and was told that the work can be done until next Friday March 21 and that the job will be done around 7 PM. I bought phone card for $10.00 online htt://www.concom.com. Card name "USA Saver" and I was told I had a 1400 minutes to call Zimbabwe. Once I dialed the # I was told 49mins. On top of that I received an email that my pin had been recharged from my credit card. Scamm. I never requested for a recharge, they just took money from my credit card without my consent. This agency has been calling my cell phone for the past 3-4 months for a person who gave my phone number as their number. I have talked to many agents to have my phone number removed from their database. I was told by each agent that my number had been removed, however I continue to receive calls. I have been trying to sell my Island One Resort's Bryans Spanish Cove timeshare for three years to no avail. I was told last year that I could put my Week 6 timeshare up for rent this year. E-Z Movers lo-balled me on the estimate, and then when they came to make the move they said it would be up to $1000 more for packing materials. They said they need wrap everything with shrink wrap to protect it, pictures, chairs, tables, mirrors, etc. I told them to wrap them in blankets, but they refused. We called Comcast to find out where we could buy the phone modem so we could stop paying 3.00 a month to rent it and what we found out was really irritating. A lady from our job was passing around a book for her daycare full of items. Many of the staff members order several things from this book including myself in January, well needless to say we have yet to receive the items and yet all are money has been taken and deposited. I have called the daycare several times in regards to this matter and the Director (Marvin) states it's out of his hands to call the corporate office.
