On 5/14/07 I sent a $9.00 check for a pre-paid Visa to Legacy Visa - a susidiary of 1st Natl Bank. The Check was cashed but no card ever arrived. In 2004, I got estimates from several pool companies for an in-ground pool. Decided to use Blue Haven. Signed a contract and they arrived in May to start the job. Signed an additional excavation contract and gave them a check for several thousand dollars. I purchases a Virgin Mobile Cell phone recently and when I tried to activate it, I was told that it was not unlocked. My girlfriend and i decided to try rolling our own cigarettes. We bought the TOP starter kit, only because she wanted the top FLIP-TOP box that it included. When we got to the car and opened it, it had a cheap piece of crap clear plastic sliding case, nothing like the false advertised box showed on the front. I too hired GoldStar Van Lines for a move from CA to Houston, TX. They picked up my furniture/household goods on 2-20-08. I brought my newborn to Walmart’s PictureMe Studio on 03/05/08 at 6pm. In the first pose his face was falling forward. I told the photographer, Melissa, she needed to try another pose. She did but used the first pose (the worst one) for the advertised $6.99 package and refused to change it. If I wanted better poses I’d have to purchase expensive packages to get them. Picked up at the airport and driven to my hotel mercure AAN DE A Amsteram. I was told the fare would be around 30 euros from the information desk and the hotel. The driver did meter, however charged me 56 euros, as he must have driven me around. When I went into the hotel, they agreed the fare too high and tried to contact the driver and company, no response. This occurred on 1/25/08 around 10 am. Driver was from Spain, named Mario. Aarons have tried to rob me blind and given me rude customer service. I went into a contract with Aaron's on new merchandise and ended up receiving used furniture. Also on the day of delivery, the used furniture was damaged. I had to go back and forth with staff, convincing them that the furniture was not brand new. Whatever you do if these cold callers call you. They trap you and say that you already have a listing with them and want to renew. I never signed and agreed to anything and yet I get an invoice in the mail for some absorbent amount. I called the customer service and they gave me the run around. I have a subscription to Rhapsody. It is paid for automatically on my American Express Card. When reviewing my bill, I saw where I was also charged for Realarcade Subscription and Superpass. About two weeks ago I contacted Embarq service to inquire as to why my dsl service was now operating at the slow speed of dial-up tho I pay for hi speed dsl. Tech support had no solution for this problem, except to cut off and restart my modem. This had no effect at all. But just today I received an "offer" from Embarq to provide an increase in speed---for an additional $5.00 per month. I smell a rat and and a scam by Embarq. I received phone calls at home stating that I will be sent a $25 gift certificate for Walmart. They ask for address verification and stated my address.
