My girlfriend taken Southwest Airlines from Oakland, Ca to Tucson, Az. When she had checked her luggage with a digital camera, cell phone charger, and laptop charger along with the rest of her things at Oakland. When she got her bag back the zipper was open and the camera and both chargers were stolen. I asked for a refund back in 2007 for $59.99. This is such a small amount. Each time they sent me a refund check it bounced costing me $20.00 for each bounced check. When I try to call their customer service line on the check, I either get an error messege or i get through and am hung-up on my their automated phone procedures. This is not a business. This agency did not disclose penalties and costs relating to airline ticket name changes. A name had to be changed on an airline ticket and the penalty was 100% of the ticket cost. We had to purchase a new ticket. This was not disclosed to us anywhere before purchasing the vacation package. This Travel Agency was taken to small claims court because they refused to reimburse any costs. I was at the gate an entire ten minutes before a 9AM departure and there was no ticketing agent at the gate. Apparently they had already closed the gate although the plane did not take off until after 9:10AM. I furthermore had to pay an additional $40 to get new ticket for a later flight to get from JFK to IAD. The very expensive to replace electronic oven-control failed early.
