Heres the info from the people that stayed there. On our trip to Jamaica in March, we stayed at the Riu in Negril. The first night there they upgraded us to a suite and someone entered our room while we were sleeping and stole our travelers checks out of the safe. Quality of food served on Kolkata Dubai route is absolutely disgusting, There has been a serious deterioration in the quality in the last two years, I think the caterers supplying the food are creating problems. Today, May 27, 2008, my husband and I decided to have a late breakfast at the Waffle House in Columbus, MS. When we arrived, it looked closed; however, there were three waitresses/cooks inside. My husband and our family stayed at this hotel. Hotwire gave it a 2 1/2 stars, we wouldn't give it a 1/2 star. There were garbage cans all over the place to catch the water from the leaking ceiling during and after a rain storm. Where there wasn't a garbage can there was wet carpet. The bathroom in our room had mold on the walls and shower curtain, not to mention the tub was filthy. Breakfast was suppose to be until 9:00 a.m.; however, before then they ran out and wouldn't bring anything else out for those who hadn't eaten. We want travelers to be aware of the questionable business practices we and friends experienced at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Pittsfield, MA. It is not a traveler-friendly place. Last summer I purchased two silver weeks at Marbella Beach Club. I have owned Marriott time shares for years and have loved them. We purchased these because the sales rep told us and everyone else in the sales office that these weeks could be traded to gold weeks and rented for big money. WELL... you can only trade thru Interval and INterval does not allow rentals so this was a LIE.
