Aviva / Norwich Union Pensions
May 22, 2007
I have been paying in to my Pension fund since I opted to buy-out of my National Health Superannuation contributions from 1975 till 1986. My Insurance broker payed in my superannuation payout direct to Guardian Royal Pension Fund then in 1993 my Brocker contacted me telling me that Norwich Union had a good deal, but since have been bought out buy Avaia Insurance, so the cheque was once again sent direvct to them, after closing my Guardian Royal account via my Nation Insurance number. I'm now 62 and I lost all the paper work for... read full review »

Virgin Media
May 22, 2007
Re: Ryan Pursey Customer Loyalty & Resolutions Manager Virgin Media Matrix Court, Swansea SA7 9BB In early April my telephone line was accidentally cut. It took ten days for a technician to come to repair the line. When he did so he made a temporary repair and he claimed that another operative would call within the week to execute a permanent repair. When eventually I rang Virgin Media they made another appointment for last Thursday 17th May. I explained that I was not going to be in on that particular day only to... read full review »

My Child Magazine
May 16, 2007
I had a telephone call offering me a trial pack of the magazine for £6.95. I had seen this before and thought it was rather good, so paid the money. The box was then lost in the post and by the time it had arrived the company had taken a further £72.95 from my card, which I didn't know would happen as I had received no paperwork. I returned the box within 7 days of receipt and requested my refund as per the terms & conditions. 2 months later I called for weeks but the phone was never answered. Eventually I spoke... read full review »

Aclepsa
May 14, 2007
Aclepsa have excellent web pages for their online pharmacy. My first order came as requested. However my second order, made three months ago, has according to Aclepsa, been re-dispatched three times from India. Their response is polite, although hardly intuitive to use their complaint system. I find it hard to believe the package could have been 'lost' or intercepted three times. As far as I know UK customs haven't intercepted the package. So I have lost over $70 dollars - half of what another person on this site has lost... read full review »

EasyJet
May 12, 2007
When boarding at Gatwick I was charged twenty five pounds because my luggage weighed 5kg over the maximum weight of 20kg. I find it completely unfair that there was no pre-warning of the maximum weight. There were several other passengers who were also forced to pay charges and whom were all also unaware that the maximum weight of luggage was just 20kg. Incredibly, there is a sign which reads " weight restrictions apply within reason". I do not believe that a twenty five pound charge is reasonable for 5kg. If Easyjet wish to be so... read full review »

Dell 924 Printer
May 8, 2007
What a farce - computer is great - printer is trash - like everyone else on the net this printer was working fine then suddenly "right cartridge incorrect" message appears and will not go away even with brand new £28 pound cartridges - think I'll take a sledgehammer to it in the garden and replace it with something where the cartridges are cheaper and the after sales service may possibly exist. read full review »

Amazon MTG TCG
May 4, 2007
2 weeks ago I was looking online for the Magic 2 Player starter set. 2 weeks ago, instead of costing 9.99, it was on Amazon for 1.49. I ordered it to that price, but the order did not reach me. When I wrote to Amazon, they just confirmed a refund. Now as you can see on the link, they have corrected the price. I feel that they just made a mistake and did intentionally not send me the product i ordered for that price. Am i wrong to assume that Amazon is legally bound to sell me that product to that price if they offered it to that price... read full review »

I was told to contact Barrister Clifford Bond who would process my prize. At first Mr. Bond asked for money to buy a certificate allowing money to leave the UK. Then he asked for a larger sum for some obscure reason. I asked him to take it out of the winnings but he said he could not. Mr. Bond now has A$38,000.00 of mine. Bought HP F380 printer/scanner/copier from Tesco's only to find that the ink ran out quick. I assumed that it came with a very small amount of ink for reasons of enhancing the sale of the printer and decided next time round would purchase a bigger amount of ink to last longer. Apparently this is not possible. It seems that the two cartridges that were supplied with the printer are not purposely made smaller ( 5ml ) to enhance the sale of the printer, they are the only size available for it. It seems for all other HP printers that if you... read full review »
