I was moving from a large home to a smaller home, and had a personal library of around 1000 volumes. Valerie Jacobsen contacted me regarding possibly selling the books on consignment. I entered into a contract with her keeping the majority of the money. I hated to give up my books, but had no more room for them. Over and over I had to bug her as to what sold and when payment would be made. I received 2 maybe 3 payments and then, nothing. I repeatedly e-mailed them, no response. I needed a new heating/air conditioning service and I contacted them 4 times and was put on hold, or disconnected, then when I got through I was told a Rep was going to call me. I have tried for months to cancel my membership, but they still continue to send shipments and debiting my bank account for these shipments. This time the money was not in my account so I was assessed and Overdraft fee of $35.00, they will not do anything about it. Back in 2007 I was going through a divorce and moved back into my parents home. With my Geisinger health insurance I have a $500 deductible plus copays ect. I was renting a condo from her and she said she needed to make a copy of the lease agreement, so being a trusting idiot, I let her take it with her - and of course never saw it again. I purchased two puppies from John and Sheryl Kobel after seeing their website Miraclemikis.com. They warned me the night before delivery of the puppies that the puppies would not have eaten for several hours and to have nutrical to give them. I did. One puppy would not eat and seemed sick. The door installer installed doors in my house and couldn't wait for me to get home to check the work before I authorize payment. I told installer that I will call the office to charge my credit card when I get home from my office and after inspecting that the work was done to my satisfaction. The installer left without waiting for me and then told the Office Secretary to charge my credit card - the same card that I was charged for the initial deposit. This practice is unacceptable. When I didn't receive them I called and was told I would have to order a total of five plants to meet the minmum purchase.
