Bodum's slogan: "Make taste, not waste" is the most false advertisement I've ever seen in my life. We have purchased Bodum's coffee press twice and twice we have purchased beaker replacements. In total, that's four glass beakers and two metal parts systems in the trash. That seems like waste to me. As with most of the other complaints, I had similar problems. Cost was much more than original "binding" quote. They showed up 6 hours after the agreed pick up time. Also, they did not deliver on the scheduled day, even though they verbally agreed to it several times before they left with my belongings. READ THE FINE PRINT!! This is peak season of winter and we don't have the heat at home. We have paid our Gas bills to Atmos Energy on Monday and this is thursday. They have not reconnected our gas. We can't cook, we can't take bath as we our water heater is also gas. Everytime I call them I have to be on hold atleast for two hours and when I do finally speak to someone at Atmos, I am told the gas will be on next day. It has been going on for the last four days. My husband and I received his paycheck in the mail. We went to Wal-mart to cash his check. He has cashed them there before. The check declined. We found out they are using a service called Certegy. We call the number on the little stub they gave us and we are told, by a robot, that there is no derogatory history that isn't allowing the payroll check to cash. This place is the biggest scam of all!!! Don't get fooled. They will open another website like this. The website contains various electronic items like iphone, HD TV, digital cameras, camcorders, with prices that are too good to be true. You go on the website, shop and they will give you a confirmation code. But you have to pay with Western Union and that is where they get you. This company goes by a few names: PremiumWhite USA (and Canada, NewZealand, UK, etc.) When they charge your credit card it's SmileBright. I saw the ad for $2.95 trial offer for teeth whitener - I checked the box indicating I did NOT want to continue beyond the trial offer but they immediately charge my Visa for $86.93 twice and again 3 weeks later for a total of $260.79 Even if I had ordered the monthly product it was supposed to be around $40. a month, not $87. This company is attempting to collect on a non-existent fake amount from a company we actually do business with. They have sent letters to us with no invoice just an amount and also contacted us with very rude phone calls and giving no validation information. I had noticed that our company name was wrong but instead referred to our company by a URL we use. This company is listed on Craigslist they only have phone numbers to call for information on property offer you 3 days use for $5.95 and tell you must cancel at the end of the 3 days. Received a letter from "Cheri Hill" at Healthcare Recoveries, Inc. Letter looked like a mass mailing letter and had a fake signature. The letter asked me to call a toll free number and give their customer service department my Blue Cross Blue Shield member ID number. I looked up the company and found out they are really Trover Solutions. This company is a total ripoff! We had the contract for 3 months with them at the time of a breakdown.
