I recently purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Kitchen Tradition. I noticed that it had the BBB symbol on it, so I trusted the vendor. In April I signed up for Google Treasure Chest and my credit card was charged $1.97... Since then I was charged $72.21 by Searchchest in June, $24.87 by Powersale in June, and $24.87 by Grant Finder in July. I contracted services at K.H. Kim's Tae Kwon Do/Oriental Arts Training Center at the beginning of April 2009 for my two boys who had already achieved a advanced level belt (ages 7 & 8). While there was a schedule of classes, there was NOT a schedule of instructors who might be teaching particular classes. Tried to use my card today only to find out my account had been closed because of so called credit report information. I have never been late on any payments to this card and have in fact most times paid off the balance before it was due. Awhile back they lowered my limit and then had the gall to send me letters asking me to transfer balances from higher interest cards even though they had the highest rate of any of my cards. I should have known this was a scam. I was on MSNBC.com and seen these products, though I could trust MSNBC.com for good information. I ordered a trial product of both Acai Berry Detox and Colon Cleanse. Both were to cost .99 for the trials. I ordered them on August 6th, billed on Aug 10th and 12th, one date for each product. Ordered chain mail from this company for the purpose of wearing to a LARP event as web site advertises LARP/SCA armor. Chain mail looked fine upon arrival. However, it had holes in it after the first LARP event I wore it to and appeared tarnished, even though the event only lasted for 1 weekend and I don't get into heavy combat fighting. Carol's daughter owe me 149.50. They have not give me my money back. Ups refund them but they didn't refund me back. It has been three months. My friend bought the Progressive Set of 6 Collapsible Prep Bowls from HSN. The video claim the bowls are made of silicone. That is the only reason we would buy something like this. Sly, dishonest sales/installation company representatives ask you what date you want your bill to be paid by credit card. They do not inform you you will get double-billed up front if it's any date different from the day of installation. Pinnacle Security does not apply pro-rata billing ethics. On June 4th, 2009 I was led to believe that I purchased a Sony HDR-XR500V 120G Camcorder with additional accessories. I called their sales dept the next day find out when it would be delivered, given that there was no delivery date on my receipt. I was told between 7 and 10 days by their staff. I hired this company to clean my dryer vent as is required by my condominum association every two years. My dryer vents through the attic. When they came they never went into the attic and only cleaned behind the dryer. It was later determined by another company that there was a break in my dryer vent for some time and it was venting into my ceiling. McPuff failed to detect the break and do the job properly putting my family in danger due to the risk of fire. Do not hire this company. read full review »

Rebuttal to "Misty" Two wrongs do not make one right. Perhaps the person you responded to was not even aware of doing anything wrong, if what you say is accurate. I have personally been fighting TWC for the past 3 years for their fraudulent practices of promising one charge for a particular account and two months later, adding further non-justified charges. Both companies are fraudulet. Interstate charged me over 200% of the move quote. Held my furniture hostage until paid. In addition, damages came to over $4, 000 dollars on my furniture. They only gave me the nmeof Antem Claim Mgmt. who offerre me around 126.00 to settle-even before they hadth entire claim. Order placed and wrong item was shipped - tried contacting the company with no response via email, phone and help desk ticket. I finally received response when I disputed the charge. All Boro Refinishing: I had my clawfoot bathtub refinished in January 2009. At the time of refinishing, they oversprayed and had drips, which they came back a couple days later and fixed. Now, several months later, the tub had developed bubbles all over the outside of the tub. My paperwork says that the work is warrantied for two years from bubbling and cracking. I made an order from a Chinese website, lagogo.com recently, and although they have my money, which was collected via Western Union, they have not contacted me since. I have sent several emails to them and tried to contact them on AIM and Skype, as they can apparently be reached on both in accordance with what their website says, but I've had no luck.
