AT&T has been seeling faulty Sony Ericson w580i's. Many people have ha dthe same problem, where it shuts off and will not restart. Nothing fixes it and there is no knowledgable cause. This company has serious issues with their server or something. They do a great email campaign telling customers about these great sales coming up. We spend the time to be there when the door opens, then cannot get in. After trying for 20 minutes or more (wasted time & FRUSTRATION!!!) sometimes you can. When checking my band statement online, I noticed a withdraw of $ 17.97, this was from some company doing business as PDL resource. I didnt know who or what this business was or why I just paid them for what I didnt know. I had applyed for a online loan, which now I know to be a big mistake. I recently acquired a business and began cleaning up the books. I noticed that Global Pay has been double billing the account on behalf of Ameribanc for over a year. There is a third charge from Merchant Service billing for the same service. The charges are 41.10, 35.00, and 32.95 every month. I called Ameribanc and the customer service rep said she was not sure why I would have signed up for two different services because they overlap each other. I took my pc in because it was "crashed" Fry's computers held on to my computer for a week before I called to check the status of my SRO. I was called back and told that my pc harddrive failed and that I should just buy a new pc. Right after that I noticed my bank account had some fraudulent activity. I cancelled prior to renewal of a homeowners insurance policy I had with USAA. They promised to cancel it and refund the monies to me within 10 days. It has been over 3 weeks, multiple phone calls and still no refund. Now I find out they never cancelled it and now I will have to take them to small claims court to get my refund. This the second time they have done this. Originally they charged me for 4 days of a car insurance policy that I didn't want. I originally asked for a quote and this is how they generate revenue. This company, or better these companies are running a big costly scam. (Dentech, Dazzle White and Axis Wellness) You are offered a trial for "only $4.95" for a teeth whitening product and before you know it there are several charges posted to your bank account. So far this trial has cost me $105.88. I have called and also e-mailed them demanding my money back with no avail. I was approached by this man at an expo in Minneapolis about doing a 'trade' for a service I was offering. He was offering free two nights and three days at resorts and hotels around the country. When I called him later to schedule the hotel visits, he informed me that there was a $25 'application fee'. When I told him that that was not part of the trade, he became verbally abusive and insulting. I authorized a one time charge of $4.95 on my debit card. Since then they have charged $48.01 on my debit card on 6/22/09 and again for $48.01 on 7/21/2009. Finally after constant hounding and brining their price down to $257. I relented and fell in their trap.
