Was given the runaround several times after there was damage to my furniture. First spoke to the owner, who directed me to her husband, who never responded. Then finally got in touch with the "owner" who told me she had a family emergency and that was why I had not heard from her in 2 months. She then attempted to pawn me off on another employee who would "take care of the situation." I ordered a watch in October 2010 and paid a deposit to Mark Time. site stated delivery 2-6 weeks. after 7 weeks sent e-mail to check on status of my order; received reply from marc rabinowitz to say delivery in mid january 2011(13 weeks after order). at the end of January, 14 weeks after ordering, having received no news I sent e-mail to cancel order and ask for return of deposit. The EMERALD LUX company advertised their product for Free and only pay shipping and handling. When I received the product I was informed of a trial period and would be charged $99.00 to my account after the trial period. They do not tell you the trial period starts on the day they recieve your request for their product. They take a long time to ship and very rarely respond to e-mails. They give an excuse that they had a problem with their e-mail, but there isn't any problem with them sending out the daily notifications that the following auctions will be closing.. I will be honest, I ordered from this guy 3 times or so, and every time it took months to get what I ordered. The last order I did was for $683.00 and he has no intentions of sending it to me. I purchased Longchamp Le Pilage totes thinking it was an official website, the bags were delivered without any paperwork for returns. I paid $112.00 for the cheapest imitations I've ever seen. There is no way to return them and since I purchased with a credit card, I've registered a complaint with the bank. I started using the trial version of this site, thinking that the resume they created for me was pretty decent looking so I paid the $5 to sign up. Little did I know, the resume they let you download looks NOTHING like the one you see on the screen (the spacing is all messed up, doesn't convert properly into Microsoft Word, the font changes and looks terrible, etc.) Horrible site and not worth a single penny! On the merchant side this site is absolutely a nightmare. The technology is horrible. They do not verify reviews, so, if a competitor, ex employee or general troublemaker wants to leave negative reviews they DO NOT phone or email the reviewer asking for proof of a transaction. Someone called and said that they were given a faulty moneypak on 3/10/2011 for 100.00 the company looked up the moneypak number and saw that this number was applied to my account on 3/07/2011. This moneypak was purchased on 07/07/2011 by my father for me and applied to my account correctly. On January 17, 2011, I purchased four new tires for my car from Mavis Discount Tires AKA Cole Muffler. They neglected to replace the lug nuts on my front, driver side tire, in which, driving away (2 blocks from their store) my tire flew off into traffic causing my car to slam down onto my rotor, damaging the rotor, studs, front fender and flare, not to mention emotional damage to me. Verizon Wireless recently reduced the amount of memory in the Motorola Droid X phone from 16GB down to 2 GB without changing their advertising or telling customers of the change when it is purchased. I signed up for an introductory offer for $4.95. Even though I called to cancel before the 10 day offer was up, they have no record of that. They also claim to have sent me three bottles of the product (only 1 of which I ordered). I did get 2 of them. The bottle I ordered and another 2 months later. Greg Bonner and James Landers run scam companies! We paid Building EMT for a roof replacement and these two men ran off with our money. My husband is restricted to a wheel chair and we decided to spend the remaining of our savings to repair our roof that was leaking. Thanks to James Landers who lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida and Greg Bonner who lives in Houston, Texas our savings is depleted and our roof is leaking so bad we still have a tarp on it.
