Middle Eastern man left a message on my answering machine saying they had my social security number and were investigating my bank account # over a debt. I googled the number and company name and saw all kinds of complaints that it was a scam. Called the number back and asked for the company name. The man said he didn't have to give me the name of the company if I had the wrong number, that I called him, and asked for my name (which I obviously didn't give) before he hung up on me. In my opinion - absolutely most horrible business experience I've ever had all around - can't even begin to describe! Just some advice based on my opinion after my experience: Check the background, complaints, and reputation of contractors very carefully. I ordered a gym system from "Total Gym" around Dec 2, 2010 for my wife xmas. The gym never got to me, since then I have called over 20 times and left messages over 20 times sent 2 emails and as of today NO one has called me to tell me where my gym is. I ordered an engine through Engine & Transmission World back in October for my 2001 Cadillac DeVille. The engine they advertised online came with a Carfax report and only had 37k miles on it. When the shop received the engine they said it looked very clean. After installing the engine my wife drove the car for a day or two and it began to overheat. These guys have little to no respect for there employees. They violate hours of service just about every week. They run their dispatch like bullies, If you disagree your told to hit the highway.I have worked 17 hours then a hour and a half round trip, plus shower, eat, read mail and the 3 to 4 hours sleep and right back out again. This is very common with Infinity. They look at safety as only to please the Gas companies they work for, but driver safety is of little concern. First, they will show you the model apartment. The actual apartment is nothing like the model. Insist on seeing YOUR apartment before signing the lease. Minutes after signing the lease, I saw the actual apartment and wanted out. They wouldn't let me. They claim to have 24/7 maintenance for emergencies, but apparently heat and hot water loss are not one of them. I have also been burned by Myshpae. When I made a purchase in December, their return policy was very explicitly spelled out - items could be returned for up to 30 days after their ship date. When I tried to return the items within this time frame, I was told that the company was no longer accepting returns. I have had my carpets cleaned for almost 30 years and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in any capacity. They came out to clean our carpets. They looked great at the time they left. I hired Sharp Ace Contractors to renovate two bathrooms, kitchens, and refinish the floor throughout my duplex. Among the many issues that I had throughout the project, and the fact that the project took 6 months to complete, the final walk through of the project was atrocious.
