I stupidly signed up for this deal, thinking I could record movies and watch them later. Well, yes they have 100's of channels as advertised but most of them are from different countries and either you can't understand them or they are just dumb movies. You have to sift one by one through each channel, there are pages and pages of them to try to find one that is decent and when you do the picture is not very clear even if you have a new computer. Has anyone heard of any scams with CB Secure? I had an odd charge of $130.00 on my Visa, which is currently being investigated. I am unable to find anything on scams with this company/site. I received a letter dated March 31, 2010 claiming to be an award claim notification. It stated it was a final notice, that I had a "prize award" of $8, 000, had an enclosed checked for the amount of $987.79, and said I needed to contact the Claims Agent for further instructions. I sent a letter to KFC to express my dismay over their apparent lack of customer service. This was not a store location, this was the call center that I am complaining about. This company phones me one evening asking me if I have sold my mid/luxury vehicle yet. Since I had not I assumed they could be a possible buyer. This company convinced me I had underpriced my vehicle by 2, 500 dollars and that they had high risk buyers lined up to purchase my vehicle. I get multi calls from phone # 866-460-9016 every day & night. They do not stop.I have called them back & ask they not csall. I have a terminal ill husband & a ringing phone wakes him after pain meds. They will not ID themselves. They say they will remove my number. Folks, Whatever you do, don't buy anything from Twilight Hot Tubs and Billiards in Victoria - they refuse to honour their warranties. I purchased a $200.00 ozonator from this company and was told it had a two year warranty, but within the year the product broke. I trusted this auto mechanic with my new car. I brought it in for a check up and was informed it was the Alternator. I paid for the change of the alternator. Left my car for 4 days at the Skypark airport parking. Very run down place with very non-professional type people working there. They take your car keys and park your car for you. However, when I returned to pick up my car, there was damage to the front end and my gas gauge was reading less than when I first dropped it off. Very rude and bad management refused to take responsibility for the damage, and now have to pay additional out of pocket expenses, not to mention time to file police reports and get the car repaired. Dollars 4 Gold only insures their packages for 100 dollars not 500 dollars as advertised. Neither the postoffice nor dollars 4 gold will take responsibility for lost items. We purchased tickets Jan 19th 2010 to let our son, daughter-in-law and two children fly down to Miami for 10 days-they were to fly March 16th 2010. We bought through Sears Travel who took photocopies of their passports and sent them on to WestJet. On March 16th after a two hour drive to Toronto, they found out the five year olds passport was 16 days out of date. This should have been csught by Sears and WestJet. Never Ever do any business with Universal Energy, or Universal Power, or Just Energy. Their door-to-door reps just tell you lies all the time and once you give them your utility bill(s), they got you. Other than you have to pay higher rate on your utility bill, several things they will never tell you, and you will end up with pay extra $$$: 1. There will be a "provincial benifit" charge on your account, and that can to anywhere up to $100 per month. 2. They can charge you on your electricity bill for about 10% percent every billing circle.
