I entered a 8 day rental contract with Colones Auto Rental, and on the morning of the fourth day the car DIED on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I promptly contacted Colones, told them of the situation and the location, and they assured me that they would send a tow truck and take care of the problem. I contacted Union Auto Body for them to paint a Brand New front bumper for my Mitsubishi Eclipse. the bumper came primed and sanded, pretty much all these guys had to do was spray it and clear coat it, tops it might have take 2-3 hours, I get the quote back through email for $400 dollars!!! I had a 50 state legal edelbrock turbo kit installed in my 98 honda civic by a professional aftermarket shop. I picked this particular brand because of california's strict smog laws. BMW dealers pride themselves on their great service. I drove from out of town ... in the snow and my flat tire monitor lit up. Called the dealership and they told me they do not have service for BMWs on Saturdays. Since it was a snowstorm and I was far from home, I asked if I could have my tires checked. They laughed and hung up. Very poor service. I guess they figured I was not from the town and so they did not care about me or my vehicle. I had witnessed a young couple being harassed by an employee from Southside Towing. The employee had called the young man racial slurs and inappropriate words. I also learned that the young woman had missing articles after she had retrieved her car. She was missing a pair of leather gloves and a leather jacket. Have brought my Escalade ESV in there for both routine service as well as body shop work several times and each time, I receive my car back, they either missed something, broke something else causing me to have to go back over and over and over and over for the same issues. I contacted German Auto Repair about fixing the brakes on my 72 Pantera. I was concerned that my car is an exotic car but they assured me they could fix it. Lifted my 1994 Corvette to repair a tire. Position the jack in the wrong location and bent the undercarriage. Local store refuse to accept responsibility. Sears shop were the only shop to jack my vehicle after purchase. I was told by the manager at Sears that the damage was not visible and the car drove ok, what's the big deal?
