I attended the CVT program at Sanford Brown in Ft. Lauderdale. The admissions rep fraudulently represented the "after graduation" employment numbers, the accreditation of the school, and the school loan process. You do not learn the facts until after your money has been paid. The admission reps receive a bonus when their students graduate. I received a call from Tina on Friday who asked me what I wanted to go to school for and did I want online or campus. I told her campus. I love the University of Phoenix, with one exception, FINANCIAL AID. I had a financial aid advisor that refused to do his job correctly, and treated me as if I was retarded when I would ask questions about my refunds. However, my beginning advisor and my academic advisor more than made up for his lack of intelligence. I had two used college books for sale. They offered to buy my books and told me to affix their label to the outside of the box. I did as I was instructed and I did not receive anything for my books as of yet. I made calls to Nanci the manager of Etextshop.com and she kept telling me they did not receive them. I see all the Kaplan complaints, hopefully an attorney will see them as well and initiate a class action suit. I attended this "school' for about 30 days. I did an exit interview which they did not submit even though I called direct loan myself, they now sent me an app for an exit interview. I returned the books unused and never began any of these classes I know it is standard practice for them, but not for me. I got the information from Dalbey and wanted to take my time looking at it. They called me several times the first week, despite me telling them that I would call them when I was ready. Hondros College of Nursing would not allow friends or family members to come to the pinning of the new graduates. New graduates deserve appreciation for their hard work, and certainly deserve to have their friends and family be present to see them be honored for their hard work. I recently enrolled in Kaplan only to find out that almost everything said to get me to enroll was not true also I watched 4 movies rented from blockbuster I have no idea how' the hangover ' would relate to medical coding and billin or hearing stories about the instuctors god son exposing himself would further my education. also the grading is random if you challenge any thing you will soon regret it, after 5 hours of class you are then sent home to read 1 or more chapters and then will be tested. After viewing an infomercial, I ordered the Brainetics software on a 14 day "free trial." I should have stopped the order after the third add-on product was pitched, but I completed the order. Instead of receiving a free trial, my credit card was billed for $179.00 within 24 hours. The two $50 gift cards that were supposed to have been sent after the order, were never received. 1) Most of the school managements in north chennai were not giving respect to the parents. If the parents want to meet the staff it's the big thing to be happaned. Should wait for hardly 2 hours. Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle, WA: I taught there for 20 years, until they decided to "dumb-down" the curriculum, but raise tuition a lot! They also don't take many transfer credits. They are completely dependent on student tuition, and it's expensive. They're one of the worst colleges in the country. Some of the professors don't even have degrees. I signed up with Real Estate Express to get my Florida Real Estate License (63 hour Pre-Licensing Course). I should of signed up with a local RE school, but was trying to be "cost effective" and signed up for their online course. While taking their practice quiz on the second module I continued to receive the same failing grade for the quiz. What a scam! Don’t waste your money! UEI completely mislead my wife into signing up for a course as medical assistant. They had us believe there would be no problem acquiring a job in her field and that they would help with her employment. It completely makes me sick to know that in the year 2010, our community is trying to make this a race issue when the real issue at hand is the education of the students in Huntsville. As an educator, I find it hard to understand the cutbacks of supplies and personal development funds, but we can provide an 800 dollar a month car allowance for the superintendent. This organization sends out email promotions stating they have recieved a grant for reimbursment of certian tuition cost from the California "Employment Training Panel" (ETP). These reimbursments are for training classes in "Home Energy Performance" and certifications needed to be a qualified Home Performance Contractor. The training and instruction is very good. This is an awful way to get educated I attended online at Everglades University for one month, withdrew, which was one class, and now being charged for a whole semester, the financial aid told me it was in the paperwork that if quit I would be billed for the whole semester, I have been since noted permanetly disabled through my doctor, and state and found to be unable to return to school or work. I recently attended this so-called school and what I experienced was utterly ridiculous and very unprofessional. First of all I completed all of my financial aid when I first enrolled in this school and after the first term (5 weeks) I was told that I had to go and redo my financial aid again (what !!!). The lack of service and customer support is beyond ridiculous at ACS. I have never received services (or lack thereof) from a "reputable business". I believe that when dealing with customers there is a common courtesy to be expected, but it is apparent that those who work for ACS have never had such training. Something seriously needs to be done about this...and NOW. The rudeness is not needed, necessary, or even conducive to good services.
