I was also scammed by this Company. They falsified my Invoice copy to my credit card company. In fact they never even sent an Invoice to me when I initially signed up for their "Unlimited Online Training" Their materials are outdated on average of 5-6 years and some courses don't even have Text books that correspond to their online courses. I am a Disabled Veteran and the Veterans Affairs pays my tuition for college. I applied for a Pell Grant to help me pay my living expenses while attending college. Salem International nows states that they can hold my Pell Grant until I have a positive balance. This will not happen for another 3 years. The college bills my tuition at the beginning of the semester and the VA pays at the end of the semester. ALCC American Language Communication Center charged me $999.00 plus $95.00 (administration fee) on 10/30/2008 in order to proceed to get my Student Visa. According to their Refund Policy (available in their Website) they will return the Tuition 100% refundable if I return the complete I20 Certificate of Eligibility along with proof of denial. Please, allow 4 8 weeks to process the refund. Safdarjung Hospital is a Central Government Hospital under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and is receives its budget from the Ministry. This school is very poorly organized.Some of the the teachers are grossly unqualified to teach and good ones are constantly quitting, they still use floppy discs for some programs. They advertise a free computer when you join and some students have received used computers with substandard monitors etc. They change class times frequently . My baby was expelled from her infant program yesterday 10/29/09 because I reported them to the health department based on the fact that numerous times I complained to the director about turning on the heat in the school during early time drop off which is from 6:30-to 8am. When I took my baby yesterday morning at 7am. the teachers were both with coats on chatting away rather than turning on the heat. The attached is an example of how Malaysian universities go to the extent of threatening students through the international police force. I have a friend who suffered a smilar problem to this one by the Mongolian student. Often, UCSI University erases such records, or substitute them with another name of a student who can be contacted to say that everything is fine and hunky dory.
