I was scammed, ripped-off, cheated, etc. by Herzing College. I graduated with Honors from a Course at Herzing College, and all I learned was how to be scammed. I am unable to work in my field of study but I have to pay over $7, 000.00 in student loans for an education I was cheated of receiving. i Attended a 3-day workshop and signed up for educational seminars pertaining to investing in stocks. After 3 months of trying to attend --I gave up. None of the live classes were offered and no current classes were listed on the website. The webinars that were offered, were a nightmare to get logged on to. Toronto Truck Driving School runs an ad which states, among other things, in class lessons and late model trucks. I did not receive any in class lessons. The truck was old with many malfunctions (horn, lights) They charge you per hour, telling you that each lesson is 45 minutes. The truck was never ready to go when I arrived so I was usually waiting 10-15 minutes for it. Please beware of the above company. My wife went to them to secure a $10, 000 loan. She was working with a Mike Watson. He called her back on a wed and said that it had been arranged and that all she had to pay was an insurance fee to secure the loan of about $1300.00. In 2007 my husband and I sign up with College Partnership, Inc. Our daughter was a freshman in high school with this service they said they would help us with the college process and providing information we needed to apply for colleges We have been trying to contact them all the phone numbers are not in service. This place is co crazy. It was the one of the most expensive mistakes I have ever made. Let's start with the classes. There are no instructors or teachers. The root word of teacher is "teach" and let me tell you that is definately not what they do. Anything I know I taught myself. The class would consist of the instructor telling you to read 10 chapters in a book and a test in 1-2 days. Nuts!! My son was a student at this school for 5+ years. The school was initially named UMAC-United Martial Arts Centers. At first the school was run in an excellent manner. When the owner Joseph Preira married his now wife Stephanie it all went down hill from there. Sanford Brown will say whatever they have to, in order to get you to register as a student. Their programs tend to be slightly outdated, specifiaclly their dental assisting program. Their focus is more on technicalities of the state so they can stay open tho they really dont comply as a teaching device. Today I took the test they offered where they claim is all I need to pass the DMV test in Minnesota. Turns out only a couple of these questions were in the test so as you would have guessed, I FAILED. Now I have to read the book tonight and waste time tomorrow morning again by misisng out hours from work. This company is a complete ripoff. I called for a refund and they rejected to do so. This shcool has a good reputation until you have a child go there. Their very difficult and uncaring. I am a mother with an ex who was ordered to pay 90% of my daughters school costs. I have had to take him back to court 6 times in 3 years to get this done. Each year I had to take loans to cover the cost until I could get the judge to force money from my ex. This school is run by a husband and wife team. The wife also teaches the elementary class and her daughter and daughter in law teach the toddler and primary classes respectively. There are tremendous conflicts of interests in the way this school is run. I ordered the infamerical disks. Shortly after the disks arrived I received phone call stating I could sign up for coaching sessions instructing me step by step in how to do the real estate system.
