Two guy about my age (19) came to my door and were selling magazines. Well it was almost my boyfriends birthday and so i thought it would be a good gift. I bought the complete compilation of Auggie Doggie Doggie Daddy cartoon episodes from a website called oldschooltoons.com. The quality of this product was ridiculously poor. It looks like something someone threw together in their apartment. The "case" the DVD came in had a cover that was simply a copy and pasted picture and printed off a home printer. Since Hurricane Ike we have had problems with this company after they bought this company from rapid cable. They keep saying they are waiting for recievers. When they were supposed to be ready for the change to HD they shut everything off. Every week we never new what channels we were going to have. We have been paying our bill and still no one has come to help us out. We can not get a satellite dish we have to many trees. Every week I call them and speak to someone new and the reply is always the same, " We are waiting for the reciever to come in next week" but next week they have not done anything. The problem here is not Direct TV. It is FUN DISH. They claimed they were an agent for Direct TV, sold me a package exactly like the current Dish TV promotion and charged me $49.99 for equipment and installation. When the installation didn't take place as planned, I called Direct TV only to find that they had no such transaction in their records. I have had numerous problems with this sonic. A few months ago we went through the drive through and saw one of the workers working with food in the back, with a small baby on her hip. I bought the PowerPack program after receiving a Windows alert regarding a registry problem and found the link to this software from the Windows site (it says it's Windows Certified!!!). I paid $39.95 for the PowerPack, downloaded RegCure and ran it. Within one day, my computer was hopelessly infected with the Antivirus System Pro virus. So serious was it, that I could not launch any programs and the constant popups on my screen would not allow me to do anything. I would like to voice my complaint about Trevor Macdonald's Caribbean series. The contrast between what was depicted in the episode between the other island and Jamaica was highly biased. The summary at the beginning of the episode associated Jamaica only with violence and gun crime. Whereas words such as: beautiful, sandy, haven and an escape are associated with the other islands. My 88 year old aunty was called about Sky Insurance - we didn't know anything about the call as she has seniors dementia, and anyone talking to her would realize this. they somehow managed to sign her up for Sky Service insurance (she does not have Sky Service on the TV) - when we finally realized what had happend and called up to cancel it they kept repeatedly trying to sell us insurance on her rented TV and anything else that happend to be connected to the TV. Purchased a 47" Vizio LCD 1080 120 Hz at Sam's Club 2 weeks ago and within FIVE days every 2 hours the pixals would fade to red then go back to normal. From the offset Charter misrepresented their product and services. After installation of cable service I received a statement for charges a week later, for payment of service not yet provided! There is fraudulent charges that I have requested, in writing, of a detailed accounting which hasn't been forthcoming. They also install used dishnet and refurbished recievers as new and try to talk you into not taking the lease, which cost you alot seeing they over charge for everything.
