I ordered a trial version of their product from a website that featured Oprahs picture and stated that for a shipping and handling fee(4.95)the product would be sent. I received a box with the sample bottle only, NO paperwork (or even a return address on the box)to indicate that if I did not call their 800 number i would be enrolled in a monthly membership program and charged 39.95 a month. Waited 3 weeks for a predator call and contacts were ignored. Finally reported complaint to credit card processor and after contact was made, owner Curtis Houser still refused to give money back saying item may or may not have been sent and told me he is not going to give me my money back and go on with the complaint for non-receive of item. Bought a pair of Maria V. Afonina design boots. They were really nice and seem to fit good at first but the boots on the heels, broke off and were impossible to glue them back on. I order the boots from a clothing website who sells a lot of designer brands and they said they could be returned for a full refund. I really like the style of the boots but because the heels couldn't stay on, I had to decide on another brand. I purchased some soccer gear from a store called Natasha Rye Sporting Gear. It bought a couple of things from them as the price was not so bad but the quality fell apart after a week of use. This company has ads everywhere for Acaipure and a Colon Cleanse. They offer a free trial for a low shipping fee and precheck for other items on the order form. You will be charged $41.85 for the products that were prechecked and if you don't return the trial in 15 days, they will go back into your debit or credit card account for another $39.95. Purchased a brand new Horizon Elliptical through Dick's Sporting Goods. It arrived in a box with the entire front panel broken into several pieces. The sign on the outside of the box says to call Horizon, not Dick's, if there is a problem. So, I called Horizon. They were closed for the week of Christmas. They equate the "procedure" with "going to the dentist" and they make out that you can return to work "in a few days" and even show a woman going out to lunch afterward. I bought 6 John Ashford long-sleeve shirts at Macy's right after Thanksgiving for a new job. I should have suspected something since they were on sale for $9.99 each. I wore each shirt once and then washed per directions. When I went to wear them a second time each sleeve was almost a 1/4 inch shorter! They never mention this in the advertising and they say they are also going to keep sending you more pills and charge your card.
