I did attempt to claim a gift card I had won, but did not ask for a membership. To make matters worse, I was trying to appeal medicaid, finding out my past year of treatments (when I was out of work) was not working, and facing surgery in October, and going thru counseling weekly. I placed an order with this merchant on 12/13/08. I live in the same geographical area, (The Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex). Shipping should take no more than 2 days. Today is 12/19/08 and I have recieved no shipment, no tracking number, no indication the product has been shipped. I have called the only number available on the website at least 50 times this week and get no answer and cannot leave a message because the voicemail is FULL. Ordered a necklace from the company on 2nd December and paid for next day delivery. Received a confirmation e-mail of the order and that a dispatch/Royal Mail tracking number would be issued later in the day. My account was debited for the correct amount immediately. This company posts ads on seemingly legitimate websites, using Oprah Winfrey and Newsmax as fronts. I received the product and when i tried to cancel within the 30 days they tried to tell me I would be charged $49.95 cancellation fee. Ordered two of these Snuggie blankets and two booklights. After a month, received the blankets but no booklights and nothing in the package: no invoice or other explanation of where the lights are or why I didn't recieve them. No way to get a person on the phone. They do not provide an email address for correspondence. Wonder why not? This company is a scam. They will tell you they are located in CA, USA. No other address. No phone number. The only way to contact them is by email. Their merchandise ships from China but you are billed from Europe.
