My son's passport has been put under hold with a premise that 'Police verification is incomplete'. Under no law a six month old baby's police verification should be done and the same has been confirmed by passport officials but still the passport is not being issued. I got few calls from a police man couple of days back asking about police verification of the child to which I said 'No' as it is not at all required. I was traveling on KSRTC bus (KA01 FA 325) on May 21 at 2 PM when the incident occurred. An old lady boarded the train and asked where the bus was going. The conductor did not answer properly and this perplexed the old lady (over 65 yrs) with heavy load on her head. I had enrolled for emigration services in 2005 and in the initial stage backed off for not doing emigration for canada. The company took a signing contract amount of Rs 25,000 after which i told them repeatedly not to continue emigration but they have not heeded to my complaints and say it is non refundable as per contract. Dear Friends, I had registered my cell no in almost all the banks and insurance companies of India, in their "Do not call" service. I had done it atleast twice in last 2-3 months. I mailed my son's passport application off over 12 weeks ago, plenty of time to receive the thing and now it's ONE week before he is supposed to fly with his class to Japan, and we cannot get through to these people.
