Let me summarize and then give you the story. Basically the owner of Pawn Etc overcharged me $43.50 when I redeemed my pawn. It was the 6th day of the 10 day grace period after 30 days in pawn. So, 36 days after doing a pawn I went to get my stuff out and was overcharged on redemption. The man was also irate rude and aggressive. No one had ordered a product or service from them. A little further investigation revealed protekadv.com, which promotes itself as a Search Engine Optimization company may be the culprit. Last night my 85 yr old father had to drive himself on icy roads to the emergency because he could not reach us on our home phone. They sold this to me as a viable online business. It is not and they know it is not. They use high pressure sales tactics. Run do not walk away from this group of thieves. They do not accept paypal for the monthly fees as you can cancel these. They accept only credit cards as you cannot cancel preauthorized payments on credit cards. I transferred my Cell Service to Sprint to save money on their Unlimited Everything Plan. I am saving money, but can't make quality calls from my home. I have spoke with Customer Service several times, but they can't resolve this issue. The quality of the calls are terrible and often drops. I have been with Time Warner Cable a few months now. Their service has not been up to par with the quality US customers are accustomed to. Internet comes and goes very often. A few days ago we had a 5+ hour Internet service outage. I have had several problems with their on demand service, too. MyLocalVisibility charged me before I ever had an agreement with them. I confronted them about the mistaken start up charge (which was more than we were negotiating at the time) and showed them that my company had not even been submitted to Google maps section. They admitted that they had not submitted my company and promised me a credit. They talked me into giving them a second chance. Do not use this company for web design or hosting. I have never been more unsatisfied with a business. They are very happy to take your money but as soon as you need to get somthing done, they are not available. I have so many compnaints I don't know where to begin. They started charging my bank account for a site that I had cancelled 6 months ago. I have not been able to get a refund from them.
