Hi, I have just returned back from my trip to London on Emirates, I am not surprised to read about all the complaints this World Class Carrier is attracting! My hubby booked tickets from Isha Travels, Iselin (NJ) they claimed that they have an office in India, Hyderabad which they did not furnished the address. Upon landing in India we noticed that we paid nearly 40% more for our trip to India and then in India, wanting to change the travel dates back home (USA), our emails were ignored. I emailed Pen Cottage B&B enquiring about prices last week. The manager Monica Kaye emalied me back speaking to me VERY rudely. She was sarcastic and said to me ''what is your problem'' Just because I mis-understood something she had said. She then said that she would never let me stay at her B&B because all I would do is complain about everything. We just recently found out that an amount of $39.95 was taken from our account, which placed us in debt. We got a bank statement and found out that it was the fault of Surplus Supplier, a compant which we have NEVER even heard of up until now, much less given any rights whatsoever to take money form our accounts. I had fallen behind of some of payments to Care One due to nurmerous medical problems. I signed up for a program GE MONEY offered by paying a minimum fee each month for 9 months at a rate of $16.98 every month. In the meantime they were suppose to freeze the account by not adding late fees, over limit fees etc. Of course I get another statement by Care One and again they continued to add interest rates, late fee and over limit fee. I was trying to book a return flight from Cairns to Brisbane with Jetstar thru Best Flights web site and as i got to the last stage of confirmation, after entering my credit card details, i got an error message saying that it had failed and i had to search again. They sucker you in to a "no hassle" presentation, then push and push to get you to buy there overpriced membership (I think $7 or $8K), then when you ask for the "Free Gift" the 3day, 2night air & hotel, they told us that no one had ever passed up the smokin deal they offer for their membership, so they really couldnt tell us anything and we had to call the company directly, which they said was seperate from them. I have tried for three months in a row to make a reservation on their website and phone and can never get through to them. We paid a lot of money to stay in Cobo and to this date still have not secured any kind of a room . I think the better business bureau and the state general's office should look into this resort and the handling of reservations etc.. They talked me into selliing my Marriott Time Share and then we paid additional $18, 000 to stay in Cobo. The day after I purchased the car I was attempting to find the code to use on the key pad on the door for the purpose of unlocking the car without keys. Pure bait and switch, misleading tactics. I paid 3500 for 10 wk vacation package. Was told all-inclusive fees were usually optional at many resorts, not true. Also can never get booked in many resorts, inventory availability problems. the fact is that I can always find a better deal doing the non vacation club route. the service we get at the Wal-Mart store in Miami, Oklahoma is lousy. I have called many time and talked to Scott, the store manager about this problem and nothing is ever done.
