Company called me in Australia on home phone offering deal. I unfortunately gave them my credit card details and they charged my card. It was supposed to be towards accommodation in Florida. Company does not answer phone calls and larger amount was charged to my card. ACCC in Australia said that web site was registered in Arizonia. This scam was supposed to be $349 and could of easily of been more. How many other people have they tricked. We just canceled our "free vacation" and are stuck with a $60.00 charge. They tell you you will be staying in one of their resorts, but when you get your confirmation in the mail, it ends up being the Red Roof Inn. When my husband called to inquire about the lodging, they had enough nerve to play back a recording of the phone call they made to offer him the vacation, and said he agreed to their accommodations. Let me clue people in on how this corrupt travel show works. I purchased something called an Ultimate Vacation Adventure, which entitles me to round trip airfare for two to a variety of locations in the US. This was purchased on the WELE travel show for $125. Advance resorts of America Potlatch resort Laconner, Washington. At first look everything seemed good. Outdoor park tidy although seemed to have many puddles of water around campsites. The recreation room and showers are terrible. There is no handicap access to the weight room that I could find, the swim pool downstairs was nice, there are two hot tubs. Stayed here April 17, 18, & 19. First nite Diesel bus ran outside our door all nite. Next nite frat party upstairs, and diesel bus. Last nite diesel bus and party went wild. Boys holding girls over the balcony, by the ankles. Complained many times to the front office, but all woman said was that she wasn't the manager. Party broke up at 5:45 - 6:AM with a lot of screaming drunks as they left the parking lot. There were about 25 kids involved. It was worst experience at a motel ever. read full review »

We recently bought a GE smooth cooktop from Conn's (cost was almost $800 dollars). The installation was very poor at best. Store Manager was very rude when I inquried about paying my account off early. If you pay it off early by phone you are charged a $15. service fee. How ever they did not send the statement to me in time so I could pay it off early by mail and have the payment in by the pay off date. The local store managers were extremely rude when I called to see if I could pay it at the local store. They promised 2 free air tickets anywhere in CONUS. Did not join, got a CERTS, Inc. voucher and you know them. there are never enough check out lines open when I shop at the KMart in Lewisburg/Fairlea store. Ienjoy shopping there but this is always a problem especially if I'm in a hurry. I purchased a vacation package from Stacey Chriss and Ana Soto of Book One on Me. This package then was booked through GO GO Travel Agency.(Not known until much later). I paid for Disney Tickets; 4-Day Hopper passes for 1child and 5 adults. She did not provide the tickets or refund my money. I have to agree about cruise value centre. I have worked with a lot of travel agencies and just plain and simple once they get your money they could care less about you. I have left several messages with questions and concerns and just have to keep calling back finally I will get someone. I definitely will NOT use them again. When I finally reach Marsha I feel as if her attitude is saying why are you bothering me. If I hear one more time I am not really making that much money I am going to puke. Adventure Scuba in Plano, TX charges almost 3X's what it costs to buy snorkelling equipment. Go to Academy! The lady who owns the store aggressively tries to sell! Not knowing any better, I bought some snorkelling equipment from her. She told me I could use her pool to try out the equipment I bought. Then, when the equipment didn't work, she told me I couldn't return the equipment and tried to use the fact that I used her pool against me. It's crazy!
