The Germiston Hospital's service is up to SHIT! I've been phoning for the CEO, Mrs Mndaweni since yesterday morning, left almost messages at RECEPTION, which answers the phone like she is dying and then she can't even speak propar English, leave alone answer the phone like a normal human being. I relocated to Pretoria in May. I had to pay a deposit to have my utilities activated. My utility bill increased on average by R200 per month. This month's bill arrived and it was a whopping R1500. Nearly double from the previous month. After many phone calls - which either gets cut of, or end up holding nearly 30 minutes, I was told that this was due to an increase in my deposit. How can you increase a deposit three months later? The point is, the deposit for service activation was paid upon commencement of the contract. It's a fixed amount. This is daylight robbery. SABC used my music for their program Special Assignment for about 4 years without paying me mechanical rights. I own the rights in perpetuity as I wrote and recorded it. I also have 97 broadcast sheets to prove it. SABC were under the impression that SARRAL (who gets an annual fee in exchange for clearing the rights regarding music broadcast on SABC) were, in fact, authorizing the usage as the title appeared on their website. I bought a brand new Peugeot 206 in 2005 and purchased a 60000km maintenance plan. At my last service I requested Peugeot to check the cambelt. At 71000km while reversing out of my drive way the cambelt stripped and seized my engine. After inspection at the Peugeot workshop they concluded that the cause of the damage was a faulty water pump. There was no indication by means of a warning light that the water pump was faulty. We were approached by Linda Spiller to upgrade our phone and we suggested that we would rather want to cancel the contract. We forwarded all the necessary cancellation documents per fax and confirmed with her again later explaining that we would like to port the number. Worst service ever experienced at a hospital. I was seen on 22/02/2009 by a local doctor R. Marias. I went to the emergency dept for stomach ache. Well they took blood results the nurse, and send me for x-rays, gave me a injection the nurse, and R1800.00 later. I never received the results of the blood results or the x-rays . Emergency electricians are a rip off, beware. A call out ends in financial overcharging as the electrician firstly replaces parts that are not faulty, secondly charges almost R600 for a part that retails for less than R100 at the local hardware. When complaining to the "call out company", the response is that the call-out electricians can charge whatever they want (and apparently this is law???)
