This is a complaint about the fare structure on the MTA Commuter Railroads (LIRR and Metro-North). They do not honor reduced fares for seniors and the disabled on NYC-bound morning peak trains that arrive in NY between 6am and 10am. On Dec 19, I called the local Walgreen's (That I do &10, 000+ business w/ yr.) to make sure that my Nexium refill was ready for pickup. My PCP had faxed a new prescription. They said it was ready. I made the trip over, and they said they couldn't give it to me because the pharmacy records erroneously stated that I was not due for a refill. (However, AARP accepted it.) We used Ian and Rose Penwell of the Natural Alternative Midwifery Practice for a home birth of our second child. Huge mistake! They never disclosed to us that they do not carry any liability/malpractice insurance. They also lied about the fact that they live in the Philippines and were only in the US for two years. Sales personnel agreed prior to our making a 320 mile trip from Ohio to Kentucky on both our trade in and the price of the used 2010 Chevrolet Traverse. Our water heater broke and Douglas (no last name given) was called. He came in and we indicated that not only did we not have hot water but we had leaks coming from the heater. Douglas evaluated the problem and noted that all that was necessary was a new thermostat. He quoted $300. My husband ordered a christmas present for our son from a commercial he saw on tv. Next thing we know, someone is calling him saying he can get $100 in free gas along with the gift he ordered if he provides his credit card and they charge only $1.00 for the free trial. Please, please, please save yourself the aggravation and use someone else. Fred, the owner, is one of the most unethical people in his profession. He will promise you the world until he gets your money and not deliver on any of his promises. The work is sub par. He cuts corners whenever and wherever he can and if it doesn't meet code requirements, he blames the homeowner and asks for more money to do it the "right" way. Ordered this phone for christmas for my son, only to find out that this is the worst company ever. The phone never got activated and got a new person everytime I called customer service which had me perform the same tests, codes and calls the each of the previous people had me do, always putting you on hold and never fixing the problem. I got their Mastercard in 2006 because my credit was less than perfect. I was aware of the fees and the high interest rate, but I needed a way to build my credit. These dogs are raised in one room in steel crates, they are not around children, they are not socialized at all. My friend worked for her and the only interaction they have is with the people who come in and let them out and clean their crates once a day. They are not around people. There is 2 rooms where these dogs are housed at least 30 dogs, about 4 to a crate. They go out on a concrete slab about three times a day.
