This company has been taking $1000 "security deposits" from contractors, designers & architects since summer of 2009 but they have not produced the lead generating program that they have promised. It appears that they may be out of business now. I have been trying to get my money refunded since October 2009 and they have never responded other than telling me "they are working on it". Beware of this company, as im now finding out they have been a hassle to deal with for years.. On Monday, 3/1/10, I received a call at my company office from someone speaking with an accent who stated they were from a law firm. When the call was transferred to me I could not understand the person and the call kept breaking up. I told this to the caller and he again said something I could not understand and hung up. On 06/18/09 I was passing through Indiana when a pressing need for fuel arose. I took the exit to the Shell station where I pulled up to a pump & prepared to fuel. I made a purchase of a product on-line July, 2008 and Wc Value Plus/Wc Essentials aka MEMBERSHIP SERVICES obtained my debit card number. They proceeded to debit my account for $16.95 two times each month from August 2008 until February 2010. When asked how they received my information, they said that I joined an "on-line discount" service, but would not provide the name of the company from which the alleged original agreement began. Let me start by saying I spent 2 hours and 13 minutes on the phone with Century Link this afternoon. My internet connection had seemed slow lately. I opened a chat with their customer service who had me run a speed test. I was at like 223 download and 120 upload. The rep advised me to do a reset of the modem and power it down. Mark Besnos was our project manager. We did an addition 1, 000 sq ft 2nd story with a balcony. Everything went smooth all the way long. We never have any issues. He is a very successful young man. Well I have only had Safeguard in my home now for two months... so far so good. The main reason why I went with this company was because of my father's recommendation.
