My husband and I are also going through audits thanks to Joe Gallagher - he was referred to us as we are both freelancers. We paid him good money to do our taxes so I don't feel that we should have had to question his abilities. This is an ongoing nightmare, we owe double what he ever got back for us. I signed up for this program in September and sent my first submittal in mid-October expecting to receive my $25 Visa gift shortly thereafter. This company (really one guy and his helper) installed a window for me and then did yard work. He installed the window crooked and it leaks. I tried to call him numerous times to fix and he wouldnt return the calls. He asked for cash only and offered a discount but thankfully I paid him with a check and was able to cancel the check. I got a recommendation from a co worker but it seems that coworker was actually a friend of his, had never had work done by him. This company hid or made it unclear what I was ordering. I tried to get my money back with no luck. The owner of this place is a con artist. Her name is Karen Diamond and she sold me a house over a leaking underground oil tank, of which she represented in writing she had no knowledge. I signed my child up for a dance class last fall. The studio charges signup fees plus monthly cost for class. Class seemed a bit more expensive, but offered a discount for automatic payment. Her class was very disappointing; the class she signed up for started great, and then her teacher left the studio for another one in the area. I was never able to use their service, it was not what I needed. They took out the initial payment but then kept billing my mom's credit card using two different names and charges. I took my coat to get dry cleaned. I picked it up and noticed the buttons had fallen off! I was told she would talk to her supervisor and have her come out and examine the coat. I called back and found out the supervisor never even came to look at the coat. The worker told her she thought it was a manufacturer defect. I was told to take the coat back to the store and get a refund. I bought the coat over a year ago and it wasn't even in this state. Ontime electronics was the worst company to do business with. They left me stranded on christmas with no gift to give to my daughter.
