 A couple of the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, but most are not! The rooms are never what I feel constitute being "clean". By that I mean I have been put in a different room almost every week I have stayed there and have yet to go in a room and actually feel like it has been properly cleaned by housekeeping! These people are so illusive that they won't even give you their actual address of their business! That's the first indication that they're a scam. He charged me $85 dollars and told me that everything looked OK (without inspecting) and that the issue was that the unit was off and that I needed to wait a while. I have to say that at the beginning of all this, I was real happy with what I heard about this business opportunity. I did like the people I talked to and it did sound legitimate, until about 3 weeks ago when all the phone numbers I received from Merchant Lending Network were out of service! First off they allowed someone to open a card in my name without my permission. I have had the individual arrested and am now trying to send them the copy of the police report and fraud affidavit to get corrected and off my credit report. They have no number or legitimate address for me to accomplish this task. If in fact this company has been bought out by another collector, where is that information? I was contacted by Vacation Property Service. They explained they were a For Sale by owner advertising company and that they had many clients interested in buying my property. They sent me a package stating they advertised on every single television station from Fox news to Lifetime. I gave them $995.00 advertising fee. VISA's fraud unit contacted me today about suspicious payments to DRIreg.com, an alleged software vendor. A Google search turned up complaints on this site about unauthorized payments to DRIreg.net in 2008. This is a scam, which I suspect has its roots from a recent family visit to Chicago. It looks as if our card number was stolen there because an unauthorized buy-and-cancel transaction at another site originated in the Chicago area.
