TJMAXX does not have a policy in writing that claims they will not accept return items from HOMEGOODS/TJMAXX. I am receiving automated phone calls MOnday through Friday that I never signed up for, dont know who this company is, and the recording gives me no "opt out" to stop receiving these calls. Their website speaks of getting these calls free for 10 days; my calls are past 10 days...will they charge me; don't think they even have a credit card number of mine since I never requested these calls, nor have I ever heard of them. This company was truly a waste of time. NetCom prides itself on being a being recognized from many software vendors but does not say that these certified individuals did not get it through NetCom. I was very dissapointed when we arrived in Green Point at Casacades to find that it's an old run down building. I mentioned to the person who checked me in that this is not what I wanted and he said he can't help I need to speak to Lizarn. 2 hours later she finally gave me a call. I purchased a pair of shoes at Lecoq Sportif in Woodmead just before the C hristmas break. To my horror the shoes started peeling in Mid Feb, I took the shoes to the store and asked them if this is normal for shoes to start peeling after 2 months and the manager said he didn't have a comment!!! His customer service is horrible. We cannot get ahold of him to pick up the bike and he never called us to let us know that the repairs were finished with a final bill. In fact, it has been over 8 months trying to get in contact with him and we STILL have not received a call back!! Alarman's prices are extremely high, we were quoted R22000 to fix our alarm which is only worth about R12000.00. It takes them days to fix something. They also charge you full price for computer software for your alarm but don't give you the originals which is what you paid for, but copies of the software, this is fraud and totally unacceptable. My vehicle has been to Action Ford Constantia over 10 times for the same problem. My little 1.3 bantam has never been right since day one. I have an idling problem that apparently cannot be fixed!!! They have accommodated me with a courtesy vehicle when my car has been with them, and I really believe that they have tried to come to the party, but I think there workshop lacks the skills to fix the problem. Action Fords solution to the problem is for me to buy a new vehicle, which will cost me thousands of Rands. I cannot afford a new vehicle, and they have given up on the problem. I purchased a car from Burchmores and traded my car in. On exchange there was money owed to me by Burchmores. Installers of a window in my newly fitted kitchen stood on the granite counter top (despite having a ladder to use) and cracked the granite in two places. When I spoke to the company owner the next day (a Saturday) he said he was so sorry and he was 'committed to fixing this for me'. By Monday they had done an about face and refused to pay for the damage which totalled R6000 and said that the quote excludes 'consequential damages'. Lawyers told me this is not consequential damages but gross negligence.
