Village Automotive
I work for a company that protects consumer rights. BE WARNED, this place will RIP YOU OFF! I towed my Subaru in, due to a defective coil. Village Auto quoted me $796.67. I thought that excessive. When I started asking questions and details, Cory (owner) got pissed off and told me to take my car somewhere else. He said "you have to trust me." I told him I have a right to ASK questions, when it's MY money! Ended up taking my car to Subaru DEALER (supposedly more expensive) and yet that ONLY cost $333.57. Subaru also told me I... read full review »

Sprint Nextel Corporation
In early January I bought a Sprint phone. When I returned it I was told there would be a $35 restocking fee. I called Customer Service and a supervisor agreed to remove the fee for a phone that did not do some of what was promised and had at least one operational defect. Because of his help we renewed the contracts on all four phones. The charge appeared next month, but not the credit. I again called Customer Service and learned the original promise was never documented but, after a 54 minute call, I was given a 50% credit.
I asked how I... read full review »
The Alaska Club
When a person signs up for personal training one expects to recieve a higher degree of service. This should include personal attention, personally designed workout regimes, and attention to detail. This is easily classified under the total customer service umbrella, I mean that is at the base of what personal training is, a higher level of customer service to meet their goals concerning fitness. My thought was that since the Alaska Club was noted as one of the "premier" workout facilities in the state they would be able to achieve... read full review »

AT&T YellowPages/ Pay Per Click
I just wanted to share the horrible experience I had with YellowPages with all the small business owners that looking for ways to grow their business and are thinking about using AT&T Yellowpages Advertising Solutions.
I signed with YellowPages Pay Per Click Program for $850 per month, thinking that was reputable company and that I can focus in running my business. I was wrong! I ordered a ski Jacket from this site, to look at a really well presented website. It looked official enough, with all the reviews and safe internet payment, however, haven't received my order, the money has gone off my account, got an e-mail telling me my order was lost and would be re-posted, then they couldn't find my order, now they are just not answering any e-mails as they have my money. They also took more money off my account than they were instructed. Not happy!!! read full review »
Clockway.com
I paid $35 for a piece of crap that was dirty and scratched. I can, and will, buy a better one at Target for $8.99. Their rules for returns are so convoluted it turns out not only to be a pain in the neck, but cost 19.50 to return it by UPS (1 lb, same state). They refuse post office returns. Terrible transaction, bad customer service, crappy, cheap product. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! read full review »
Elite, matchmaking
I read all of these complaints online, and instead decided to trust my instinct and the advice of other members who are now married.
I met with Suzie, who told me that although I was divorced and in my 40s, there was still a large dating pool available for me. After dating men on match.com I was more than ready to meet people who had been screened.
Suzie calmed my nerves and I signed the contract, which turned out to be the best thing I could have ever done because now, I am typing this in the condo I share with my husband... read full review »

Even though I had never heard of them, I found a cheap flight on their site and thought I'd give it a shot. What a waste and a pain. They sent me a confirmation number and everything and then at the bottom (thank goodness I checked) there was a note saying that it did not go through, that they were "having trouble with that airline getting correct flight information." Horrible HORRIBLE horrible. Don't use that site ever. read full review »

David Manning
David Manning promised a loan to complete our project. He stated that it was ready to fund ad that he needed upfront money to complete the transaction. He claimed that the funds were to be used by the attorney to complete the deal. He NEVER funded and although he acknowledged that he needed to repay this obligation, he continues to ignore.
He uses all types of excuses, from personal illness to death in the family, as an excuse for not funding. He is a liar, and will make promises that he has no intention of fulfilling. read full review »

Customer service number is disconnected (try it for yourself), and UPS can't deliver my sunglass return because there is nobody at the return merchandise address to receive the package. I was not aware of these charges $59.00. I ignored the account because I never activated the account. Guess what, they will still charge you even if the account is not being used. What a scam. The last email I had from Get on Media was from July 6th 2010 telling me the acount has not been activated. They know the account is not activated but they still continue to bill. You would think with their vast technology, they would send a follow up email alerting the consumer that they are being charged $59.00 even thought the account is not active.
