Avis offers to fill your tank with gas at approximately the going rate $3.20 (in sf) when you return their rentals. Sounds like a convenience, but beware! The contract states that you will be charged for a FULL tank of gas regardless of how much is in the tank when you return it! in my case with a chevy impala the cost was over $60, even though i returned it with more than 1/2 tank of gas in the car. Heavy taxes are also applied to the gas fee. Forego this one and fill up at a nearby gas station before returning the car. read full review »

Beware of logicmanse.com and Guru.com. I hired logicmanse.com through Guru and after 2 yrs on a project that should have been only 6mos max they company never delivered what they where supposed to create. After giving a deadline of 8mos extra they still could not deliver and were very hard to get in touch with. Dr. Plumber looked at my heating system and performed repairs on it without telling me what they were going to do or how much it would cost. I purchased a Southern Cross Lawn Mower from Game at Westgate and when I took the lawn mower out of the box, it seemed some of the assembly screws were missing . Ordered "UGG" boots Nov 30, 2010. Finally received them today 12/30. They are fake!! Workmanship is sloppy and material is flimsy. Also, did not receive style and color ordered. Have instructed my VISA company to reverse the charge. Can't find a phone number for them and their customer service dept is a different web address. I purchased a vehicle from this dealer on 12/4/2010 and he assured the vehicle was in good condition. The day after purchasing vehicle I began to have several problems with the vehicle from the brakes squeaking real bad to loud popping noises in the wheels. Terrible place to work! Tried out and worked there over a summer a few years back and had to drive all over the state for nothing to hand out fliers to people. I am a Private Investigator who uses GPS trackers on cases. I purchased one of the most expensive units just to find out they will not service their units. Their web page advertises that they have immediate service replys. I have had to e-mail this company many time just to get a reply. Their techincal supports *** as well as their employees that I have talked with. I have money, this is not the issue, I just asked that they test the unit they sold to me which I continued to get the same reply, "well we know that it works". I paid over $400.00 for new eyeglasses in Dec 2008. Exactly 12 months later Dec. 2009 the lenses were cloudy due to a coating wearing off.
