Complete scam. I received the same routine about needing to buy all sorts of "extra" things that digital cameras usually come with (e.g. battery and charger), then received the camera in a badly damaged "factory-fresh" box and with a photocopied instruction manual. I ordered a copy of Gears of War 2 LE on 10/10/2008. The game was released on 11/7. On 11/11, their site said "Out of stock". When I called customer support, they said they ran out of stock. I asked how they ran out of stock without sending me one, when I preordered the item a month in advance, for which they had no answer. I've been subscribed to this service for over a year. First few months I was fine because I was borrowing older video games and fully beating them before returning. On 15 December 2008 I tried to book a business trip from Denver Colorado to Manchester New Hampshire, round trip. I went to the Yahoo Travel web site and was unable to confirm purchasing the ticket because I had no password. I canceled all the input and went to Expedia and booked the trip. I made an online purchase on November 25, 2008. Pleanty of time to receive a great deal on a Garmin Nuvi GPS with delivery in time for a Christmas present for my daughter. I worked for this company for a short time as a loan officer. After I left they failed to pay me my commissions. I had to go through arbitration where the company stonewalled the process refusing to respond to emails or phone calls from the arbitration company. I was finally awarded a judgement of $7200. TLG Comp Home and TLG Fun are both databases which are parasitic from websites which you may shop/order from. They charged my account 11.99 for 5 months and it was a latched parasite from COOKING.COM - I spoke with them today and insisted on a manager who is refunding my entire amount in 10-15 business days. My wife made two purchases recently at www.proflowers.com. Our credit card statement shows a $1.95 charge from Easy Savers. An email from proflowers.com indicates that my wife signed up for some sort of service during the checkout phase and that's what the charge is for. I bought a battery office clock at Office Depot and after two weeks, Office Depot reduced the price on the same clock that I bought. I asked store Manager for price match, but he refused by telling me Office Depot will not do price match after two weeks ! I told him that office clock is not computer memory or hard drive and I asked for OD policies but he didn't do price match for me. I have been receiving emails from a James oka something. He has been keeping in touch with me. He has also sent me a copy of a check that I would be receivng and wanted me to make sure I have this copy to identify the real one once I have received it. To reduce the amount of mail, I signed up for electronic statements. I have not made a purchase for some time now therefore I am paying on an outstanding balance that really should not be increasing. This evening I went on line to pay my bill and it was at this time I noticed the payment date had changed and the last payment I made, that I paid in person and thought was on time, was recorded as late, resulting in an additional $29.00 late fee. company billed for cleaning a clogged drain. Not only Company charged a huge amount for about 10 minutes work, $225.00, but they add $15.00 as an environmental fee. There was no spillage of dirt and no collection of any residue by company and there was no reference to any formal law or document regarding such fee. It looks like quite unjustified. Can you help? On 1-4-09 our son had a reservation to take the Megabus from Milwaukee to Minneapolis. When the bus arrived, the driver got off and said he could not take any more luggage, he said he did not have room.
