Anyone gotten ripped off by Philadelphia Cycle Center [2450 Castor Ave]? Last spring (2009), I paid them over $200 to rebuild the carburetors on my 78 Honda Gold Wing. Turns out they only filled them up with cleaning fluid and emptied them out. When I picked the bike up last spring, they said they rebuilt the carbs. Now, they're going back on that word, saying the carbs were only cleaned and synchronized. My wife an I arrived in Miami for the beginning of our vacation. When we caught the shuttle from the airport to the the office, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes to get to the counter. EZ Lube botched an oil change causing oil to spew out of the engine rendering it inoperable and in need of a new engine. They sent it to a mechanic of their choosing who replaced the engine poorly kinking a vacuum line but the worst of it was they ruined the transmission in the process. EZ Lube fought this in court and lost but it shows their bad character that they would try so hard to escape responsibility for this, wanting to leave the consumer footing the $3, 000. bill for the repair. read full review »

Traffic was backed up all the way up the A5 whilst sales assistant was cleaning the pumps, petrol station was very busy with all the pumps being used and cars waiting only one sales assistant working inside, she asked for assistance by the other sales assistant who obviously just couldn't be bothered to help out, I had to wait over 20minutes to be served. Their insurer hit my car. I filed my claim same day. They took responsibility for it, and had their field appraisal guy come survey the damages to my car. It then took over 2 weeks of me calling every day, to get a status update on what was going on. They NEVER will return your phone calls. We rented two cars from Advantage for our company staff. On return, we arrived late for our flight and in a hurry, left a large sized GPS device (Magellan RoadMate 1700) in the car. A car that is 6 years old with 92, 000 miles has a subframe that is completed rusted through. I was told that it is unsafe to drive, and that I should consider myself lucky that nothing happened while I was driving it because it could fall apart at any moment. It will be thousands to repairs. Chrysler claims that it is out of warranty, and there is nothing that can be done. I have filed a complaint with the NHTSC.
