My Family, have been long time Nissan owners.My husband and 2 daughters are Nissan owners and we have purchased multiple nissan products over the years. My issue is with our 2002 nissan Altima, which is rusting on the front passenger and drivers floor. I have a 1999 Altima and i do not have this problem.My husband had to replace the oil tray because of rust.Reading the other entries in the forum, I see this must be a common problem. I always praised my Nissan cars up until now.I am going to talk to service and make a formal complaint. February 14 2011 went to Stone Mountain Toyota get an oil change which would be at no charge as I have a card which gives you the 6th oil change for free. Was told that the oil change could not be done as the oil pan and bolt needed to be replaced. That it was a very serious situation because there was a bad oil leak. I had not seen any evidence of oil leaking from my car. I was told that I had to pay $393.26 before the part could be ordered. I baught chevrolet spark 3 months back. I was driving on highway suddenly my car’s front tyre blasted it was my good conduct that nothing happened to me and my family that day. I went for replacement as it was under warrenty and run only 5000 kms but inspector over there said it might have hit any metal or sharp stone. I parked in the lot by my school, University of Houston-Downtown, with a valid surface lot parking permit. There were many other vehicles with similar plaques on the rearview mirror, however, my car got booted. These clowns are part of what some car dealers do. They promise you financing and you the customer act in good faith. You give them a deposit when asked. After they lie to you and don't produce, they keep your deposit. This happened to me at Kings Auto Plaza Brooklyn NY. I reported them to the Brooklyn DA, that's when I got my deposit back. I am reporting these jokers to the Westchester County NY DA's office for the same type of offense. Do a handshake with any car dealer. Only transfer money when the deal is done. read full review »

I went to Balise Toyota little over a 2 years ago to look at used Tundras only to find the sales staff is not very helpful. Besides being way over priced compared to other Toyota dealers, I found the salesman to be pretty put off. Bad mistake, as I went with my mom who was in the market at the time for new top of the line Lexus.So giving me a hard time over a used $20, 000 Tundra probably costed the dealership a sale on a new Lexus that gores for around $80, 000 or more. In January I took my Pathfinder to Bathurst Nissan as there was a noise which I said was the Turbo. They found major problems with the timming chain and thanks to you fixed a large number of things due to the wear on the motor. I was without a car for 0ne month!! Purchased tires and 1 year service of tire rotation, got my car serviced at my Honda dealership 5-6 days after my new tires were put on, Honda stataed I needed an alignement because my car was going off to the right. I was being sent to Dubai by my company - and booked a car for the period that I will be there. However my employer cancelled the trip and I was forced to do the same with my car rental. The driver and passenger side of glass has black lines running down them. the dealership talked to a rep from GM and ordered a new driver side glass to install to make sure that glass wasn't defective too..Well guess what, it was just as bad or worse. I purchased a brand new 2009 Honda Civic at about 60, 000 miles the paint started to crack. The car looks like a boiled egg that has been droped. No peeling or chipping just cracks everywhere. I hired Safelite to fix a very small chip in my windshield. The technician looked at the repair, told me it would be no problem, took my money and began to work on my car. He never mentioned that there was a risk the repair could lead to a crack in my windshield. Three hours later I returned to my car to discover a six inch crack (now expanded to a twelve inch crack), a receipt, and a copy of their warranty which strictly limits their liability to the application of the repair cost to a replacement. Arriving at the desk of Holiday Cars at Gatwick Airport we found that they did not give us the car before we gave our creditcard. We do not own a creditcard so we did not get our car.
