We tried for a loan modification and they told us to not make anymore payments on our cars, boat, timeshare, credit card balances, etc., these loans were established back in 2001 and 2004. If we didn't pay those loans, we would have enough to make our mortgage payment. We are subject to an increase in our payments with the LIBOR Index in August of 2014! Quicken will take your initial call in less than 30 seconds...after that, the further you are in the process, the longer the wait. It can go as long as 30 minutes if you have to talk with 2 people.
