The women who work in the non-credit office for computer training are non-caring, smug, selfish, idiots. Read the fine print before you book your courses alot of hidden cost. I asked for a refund and was told that there was a $ 100 fee for administion with I was not told when I booked the course but they said they told me so on the phone, they did not inform me. I called to cancel the next day and they have already put the transaction though. It has been a month and a half so far and no refund which they said would take a month. My son attended UTI in Houston. He was an Army veteran and had the GI Bill. The financial aid people insisted that he couldn't complete the program (basic automotive) without loans. I signed a "contract" with RUE. Upon questioning the admissions rep that I could void the contract if this didn't work out, was told as long as you pay for the courses taken. If you or anyone you know are thinking about signing up for one of these over-priced cosmetology schools such as Aveda, Regency, etc... Please be aware of cost and traiing. Community Colleges offer training just as good maybe better than these poser cosmetology schools such as Aveda where you are paying for a name. I went to LTI 2006-2007 with the promise of a career in the auto industry making a good salary at graduation as well as reasonable loans and state of the art training. Through the time I was there none of the training aids were ever in working condition. A good amount of instructors were not only uninterested in teaching but showed up to class drunk - or would just have us sign out and go home for full credit. I got accepted to AIA and was so excited. I did not do my homework until about a year in. By that I mean I did not research reviews and their success rating. We had our child in this nursery school for 1 year. The fees are exorbatent, the kids get fed very small portions. They claim to be a christian nursery school, but all they are worried about it increasing the funds into the school - of which there is nothing to show for all the money they collect. This dance studio is clearly all about money. Money to sign up every year, monthly dues, costume dues, recital dues, last minute adds for recital. After three years of never being late on a payment, and having to cancel membership because of hardship, they demand even more money for not attending!!!
