My son, his cousins and a girlfriend have all worked for Tradeway - some of them for a few months andothers, like my son, on only 2 or 3 occasions. This is a very small hole-in-the-wall school and the owner is a very cold, corporate-minded guy who takes no time to know his students. He is geared more towards kids and likes to stiff his adult students without considering their circumstances. The way he talks to you is that of a serial killer. Cold and very eerie. This is a warning to prospective student using online services for help in dissertation, research papers. I had an awful experience with a service called THE DISSERTATION PROFESSOR. I paid them to edit my dissertation and while the amount charged was cheaper than most other similar services, their work was shoddy and unprofessional at best. This place is rediculous. They took my money and then canceled class immediately. When I asked for a refund they said they had a no-refund policy, but also would not tell me when class would start. Only then did I google this company and have found numerous complaints about the owner and teacher. There have been lawsuits and police and sherifs involved with this school, and now it is up for sale. My time at Coleman University was ok. There's one instructor who get really mad if you ask him a question. And he's been there for years, why he's still an instructor there, I don't know why. And the credits are not transferable to another school IE SDSU etc because they are only Nationally accredited so that they can receive the $money$. I'm an international graduate student of IIT Stuart School of business. There are also about 200 classmates of mine share the same problem with me. When we were registered for our programs, we were all required to take a PCA course, a language course teaches almost kinder-garden English but costly. It will cost about2800 usd per semester. Empire beauty schools "rules" are a joke. They are made for the administrators to follow or break at their own choice. School rules say that if a student misses more than 33% of a ciriculum that they are DROPPED. My mother and me bought the WORDSMART product because we thought it would be very helpful, bad idea. We bought and ended up not wanting the program. When we called back, the costumer service pretty much started refusing to return it! One of the reps lectured my mother and me. I contacted Unisa regarding applying to study with them, I was told since I'm a first time student I would have to apply through CAO, which I did. Then last communication I got was that my application would be forwarded to the university and they will get back to me. I too know how it feels to be ripped off by on-line courses. I attended Kaplan university for 3yrs on my way to graduation, however on march 6th 2009 kaplan shut me out from their on-line course.
