CIE (Cleveland Institute of Electronics) lures people into registering for their online courses at a $35 charge and once registered, they send you material for the first lesson but start billing for half of the course. This is a great school but financial aid is not. They approved and disbursed to me a loan. After the money was spent they demanded part of it back and said that I shouldn't have recieved it. Then they harass me for payment. It was turned over to a collection agency which then doubled the amount. I was going to pay it little by little but now I won't because of the extra fees charged. They should know what they are doing and what I am entitled to and what I am not. So beware if you get financial aide from this college. My child attends La Petite in SC now (not for long) and I constatly have problems with them. This week they had not fed my child for 9 hrs!! he is only 8 months old! They leave his bottles out for hours at a time and feed it to him. i saw a little girl chewing on the lid of the trash can they put dirty diapers in. the staff is rude. the only thing that has changed since ive been with them is the amount you have to pay. I enrolled at MTC Truck Driving training to learn and obtain my cdl license to become a truck driver. I was told that they would teach, assist and help obtain the neccasary credentials. I can say as the wife of a truck driver this company is full of bull. They get the drivers to the training facility and then do nothing but lie to them and their families. Why is it that people can't be taught how to drive properly? I see daily older people or even young scared people coming onto and departing a highway, not going the highway speed. My friend had taken their application help services. He paid 36k for 5 apps. After this, Princeton assigned him a couselor who at first kept trying to convince him to apply to colleges where he was not interested. Apparently, the application for those college was shorter and easier. Went to the school through the surgical tech program. Most of our nights there were spent sitting in the classroom looking at the wall while one person at a time went and did practice procedures on a dummy that was so worn out and beat up. In Jan 2009 I purchased an online Real Estate Course. I paid in Full. I moved and separated from my spouse during that year, so needless to say things were hectic. My daughter attended at this school for the VPK program. Last week my daughter was scrapped on the playground by some equipment being held together by tie straps. I was looking for a paralegal college online and I just found out that this college is not regionally accredited and I was oltd that it was.
