April 2009 I had dental scaling done to both sides of my mouth at Penn Dental. The procedure is covered by my insurance, but I got a bill from Penn Dental, stating that the insurer would cover only half. The insurer claimed that I'd had the procedure done twice on one side of my mouth, not once on both sides. It would not cover the procedure done twice to one side. I paid for evaluation with wes.org for evaluation of certificate for international schooling. They were quick to accept payment fee but since then nothing had been done. It wasn't until recently when I couldn't wait I discovered that not only did they send my evaluation to the wrong address, they also didn't notify me or pay the Council their evaluation processing fee, so my form was sitting out there in my country of Education, untouched until I contacted them and paid the fee and filled out their own forms. Two things to watch out before you sign anything with them: 1. Lunch is not included. The brochure shows that the price is "With Lunch", but in fact, you have to pay for yourself. 2. The deposit can only be used at the end of the year, i.e. June. This means that once you pay the deposit, you're bound for one year. Everglades University, a.k.a. Keiser University is an online scam pretending to be a revolutionary online college. They are a for-profit school, and are not accredited. They represent to you on the phone that you can pay as you go and set your own schedule, but actually will bill you for an entire semester regardless of how many classes you actually take. This can be around $6, 000 dollars. Even if you withdraw from a class, they will continue to bill you for the remaining classes that you do not take, and then turn your account over for collection years later ruining your credit history.
