This malware popped up on my computer after my boyfriend mistakenly clicked on the icon, thinking it was my antivirus software. I then spent two days being inundated with pop ups trying to scare me into purchasing their antispyware program. It also disabled numerous programs in my computer, preventing me from removing the malware. I purchased an Acer Aspire desktop in July 2008 as a 2nd computer. I was going to purchase a Dell or HP, but the Best Buy associate suggested the Acer.
