I suppose major appliances are bound to fail at one time or another. When they do, you would expect the manufacturer to repair them in a timely manner and stand behind their warranty and abide by applicable law. Our clothes dryer stopped working two weeks ago (11.14). We scheduled a service visit on-line for 11.15. Nobody showed up. I have purchased a samsung galaxy 3 ( GT-I5801) last month from the mobile stores, hosur. Ever since, I am having an issue with the battery. The battery life shows 70% and in another 10 ~ 15 minuted, it says battery empty.
