My Acer Aspire 9410 laptop was just what I was looking for UNTIL the part that receives the power cord came unsoldered from the motherboard during the first year that I owned it. Acer happily repaired the part by resoldering it. (Too late to be covered, I realized that my CD portion of the laptop did not work after the repair!) Well, now, the resoldering job has come unsoldered once again. I am really upset that once again I am totally unable to use my laptop because I can not get power to it! Any ideas? DO NO buy Acer monitors... Their support technicians are useless when it come to fixing the monitor issue with no power on and Acer logo flashing during initial turn on the monitor power. Two seperated cases was openned for each of the problem mentioned earlier. Sent both monitors to Acer for repair and got back with exact same problem. There is no way to convince Acer tech support that their monitors are defective and should have been repaired or replaced instead of sending back and forth for nothing. I had the TV still in the original box and when I was able to remove it from the box, we discovered that the television was not working.
