I was away and missed paying some my bills at my vacation home for February, including my Cogeco cable bill. They made only one attempt to contact me by phone - when I was away. They then sent a "collector" who came at 8:30 pm and behaved rudely with my wife when I was at work, took away my modem and cable box, all this when I had already paid the overdue amount recently. All the other services I had "defaulted" in February merely called again to remind me (they did not need to, I paid all bills as soon as I was back). Sportbook.com is an on-line gambling site. I requested a check for my winnings. I had to fax my drivers license, social security to them and I received a check two weeks later. I deposited the check into my my Mom's account and the check came back not paid. The check is stamped Return Sender-S Refer to Maker. I called Sportbook.com and spoke to an agent named Roger Jimenez located in Costa Rica. He told me to fax a copy of the returned check to the verification department and they would recredit my account. These people have scammed many people for production work... they will talk on phone and email take your money, hard drives, intellectual material and complain for months as they produce nothing. Bought Quickbooks 2009 for mac... had an issue with printing checks. Called and was told they could not help me unless I had the support package, this is two days after I purchased the product. Today two months later I go through my statements and find two support subscription charges from intuit. I went to Zake for lunch and specifically ordered from the lunch menu because I only had an hour for lunch. After 45 min no sushi I asked the waitress to check on my order she said it would be 2 minutes, then they only brought out only one of the 2 same orders for sushi. When I contacted Verbatim Company about difficulty in getting ArcSoft QuickDVD to function properly, I was informed that they did not support this software. Hi, My name is Mitchell Mathews. I recently bought Call of Duty:World at War for PC and it was running smoothly for 2 weeks. The first problem was that I had no sound coming out of my speakers. I attempted to return an item which was the incorrect one due to seller error. I ended up paying $10 for shipping to and from the seller's address because they rejected the shipment. Valorebooks did refund me my money, but did not do anything to recover the shipping expenses I wasted from the seller. I got Cyberlink movie making software along with my JVC camcorder. I could never get the voice over feature to work, and since they don't have anyone that you can call up and talk to for free, I paid their 30 dollar fee for phone support. What a rip off.
