Just as above, I never give door-to-door salesman the time of day, but this was a very personable young man who, for his "sales credits" talked me into buying more than I originally wanted, my check got deposited fast and no magazines. I received an email from Symantec HP CPC that my computer was not protected from virus. I was instructed to pay $66.98 to Symantec so that I would not be subject to virus threats. I have the worst customer service experience. I called them on September 18 at 12 noon and a recorded voice says your hold period may be more than 40 minutes. I decided to send them an e-mail, the auto reply says they are experiencing high volume of e-mails so expect a delay in reply. It shows they have real poor service. When I signed up in June 2008, I was told I shall get 15000 bonus aeroplan miles with my second invoice in August 2008, but Primus did not credit the aeroplan miles. On July 15, 2008 my son went to wash his hands in the bathroom of Denney's Restaurant in Madera, CA he slipped on the wet floor, hit his head knocked him out for a second. hit his front teeth on the sink and knocked out 5 teeth! Do Not buy a Sanyo tv. I bought two, just five months later one already fried. The US company in Arkansas is a jock to deal with. I was told if it happened again, they would fix it again, taking more than a week to so. Not that they would send me a new TV because there is a definite problem with the set. They are cheap, and not trustworthy. The for India today book club site does not have a link to open up a site for claiming free gift. My 15 year old Son worked all last Summer and part of Winter to buy this X-Box 360 Elite and the intercooler ( a good system should not need an intercooler!) and has had nothing but problems with it. Ordered a Samsung LN-T5271F 1080p 120HZ online from Projector Export for $1998 which included $249 for fast shipping. "Jack" called me the next morning and said that Samsung doesn't honor the warranty on that TV anymore. He said for $150 more suggested the Samsung LN-T52A550. I asked if it was 120HZ he said yes. That made the cost $2048. A week later, I still didn't have the TV and then I found out that the 550 series is NOT 120HZ but is only 60HZ and that Samsung DOES indeed honor all warranties. Customer Service with Direct TV is very poor. I pay over 100.00/month and I only have Showtime. I have 1 DVR reciever that is not operating properly. Direct TV service people, Jay and Ashley want me to fix this problem by disconnecting and reconnecting cable wires. What are technicians for??
