I work with computers and IE8 of course sets BING as the default search provider and everyone just leaves it that way until I switch it for them. The first problem I have with it is they never bring up what I want in the first 5 results, whereas with Google it is usually the first result. I sent a sell back order to Valore Books a little over a month ago, and still no word from them. Not even a confirmation email. They assure you it takes up to 14 days to receive your package, when it's a lie. In August of 2009 I purchased Webroot Security Essentials for a period of three years. Two months ago this software failed me and allowed Security Tool to infect my computer and essentially shut it down. I lost files, suffered a lot of inconvenience and had to pay someone to get rid of this virus for me. Today I decided to approach the company for a refund of the unused portion of the three years. Called "Sears" for TV repair service which goes to a company by the name of A&E. First available appt. was 1 1/2 weeks. Told they would come between 8-noon. A young man came to my door on March 20, 2010, claiming that they were selling magazines door to door for school to earn a trip overseas, I am so upset now I dont even remember where he was claiming to go. Ordered a veggie burger going through drive thru! Took 15 minutes, They take each order one at a time and serve them before taking the next order! OMG I finally got to the window and expressed how long it took nicely and the girl tells me she knows and turns and walks away like "oh well get over it"! I stopped going for about 3 months and thought well may the serve was better as I have complained other times with corporate, but apparently that was absolutely useless do so. Our business credit card has been charged 4 times for $14.99 for a service that was nto authorized. I have called several times, ther first time they could find my account, then when I called back they couldn't find it and the call was dropped by them. Everytime that I try to call and talk to someone I get hung up on. Try calling 1-800-444-8011 for customer service. The service we received at Ninos in Kenilworth Centre was SHOCKING! The food arrived 45 minutes after we had ordered. Each order was cold, and my chips were under cooked. The company charges money for a service (movie downloads) it does not directly provide. The software used is "Vuze" which may be downloaded for free. They claim "unlimited access" to movie downloads "24/7", but this service is not in fact provided by them directly (again, provided by Vuze). They have a customer assistance system to answer questions, but my complaints in this regard have never been answered directly. In the future, I will research such companies more fully, but this company's claim of services is, in fact, fraudulent. read full review »
