I ordered a three seater glider, one stationary chair and one rocking chair to be restored. What showed up was a three seater glider and two stationary chair in the wrong style. Correct Roofing respresentative canvassed door to door. Their pitch was that they work with the insurance companies so i don't have to. We had some bad hail damage to our area in August 2008. Many homes had damage to their roofs, gutters, downspouts, soffits and fascia. The representative talked a really good sale and was easy to trust. In the fall of 2005 Clearview Plumbing staff working at my home doing rough-in work for my basement development discovered that the existing reverse osmosis water purification system that had been in the home when we purchased it was cracked and leaking. Salesman talked us into a soft, expensive mattress (a queen sized PostureTemp Elite) - memory foam type mattress. It quickly became uncomfortable. The Customer Service woman over the phone (Shaquir) was less than friendly. Had to fight to get an inspector to the house. I know the mattress did not pass the 'dip test', but never heard a peep from anyone again. Warning - Don't buy AEG. I bought an AEG washing machine - with a five year warranty. 18 months later, I have had to have it repaired 5 times, each time something different! Don't be fooled by anyone telling you that AEG is a 'top' brand. Recently during our rainstorms I was looking at J C Penny / Home store to purchase furniture for my living room. Upon getting to the second floor I saw a sofa I was interested in and water was dripping down from the ceiling onto the white sofa. I purchased a King Koil Sleep Design 1000 Firm mattress that was manufactured by Blue Bell Mfg. in Connecticut. Our family asked Dale Alcock Homes for a quote on a granny flat for my daughter's adopted grandmother. In October 08 we asked them to make alterations to the plan they gave us. Poor service by the store, salesperson, and especially customer service. We purchased a coffee table Jan 1. It was delivered without the four panes of glass. They ordered replacements but after two weeks only one pane arrived. They ordered it again but this time after two weeks only two arrived. I received a bill from nwpsc for $160+ including a previous balance of $75+ and late fee of $10. I made the complete payment on the same day. However, neither did I receive my previous bill for $75+ nor did their online system allowed me to login and check my account balance. I bought a Range from Sears in May of 08 and I cut my finger on the vent that is right above the Range top and below the dials on a ledge and you cant see it... I was cleaning my range and ran my hand across the ledge to clean it and found the vent when it cut my finger badly.. I am looking for anyone else who has done this also. I had some issue with my patio cover and called American Patio Cover Plus they promised to call me back but they never did. They Just has this habit of receiving call and always promise to call back but they never do. Our ADT "experience" was a comedy of errors...until it became, not so funny. We moved into a house in October which had an extensive ADT system pre-installed. We contacted them, they sent out a sales guy, and we signed our contract...a 3 year deal with only 2 years enforced (and duly noted on the contract). They lied to me, to GA consumer affairs, and the better business bureau, and the credit card company. Sue changed the dates on invoices and was caught in many lies.
