Scam! Offer same product as everyone else but charge 3x as much. Lock you into a 3 year contract. Looks for decent credit score so you don't want to ruin it by breaking contract. Treat employees like crap and won't even give them discount on services, cheats on commission and refuse to give their tax id no. Eventually company will go down because of poor customer service dealing with noncorporate secondary companies that resale for them. Non competive in todays competitive market. Don't believe the lies the sales reps tell you. They are thieves that steal from the company and steal from customers...I know someone that works for them. read full review »

Our dishwasher panel shorted out 3 times between Oct 2010 and Aug 2011 and was unsuccessfully repaired by their contractor each time but the last. I had paid $110 for two previous unsuccessful co-pay attempts to fix the dishwasher and then the final $55 for the last fix. First American says the repairs were separate and distinctly different. Not true! Repairmen stated on the last 2 visits that the previous repairs were done improperly causing the panel to short out. My wide and I purchased this item, the mocha commercial 46000 btu patio propane heater in Dec 2010. The delivery date was to be around Dec, 27th 2010, about a week and a half or so from when we bought it. The day after we bought the heater, the time frame for delivery was to be sometime in late January 2011. We also noticed that their price went up from 179.00 to 379.00. We purchased 3 area rugs/carpets for our bedroom. They were the most expensive and the "best of Mohawk" according to the Lowe's carpet employee. After about 3 months the carpet fibers just started turning loose and coming out. It happened where you walked, vacumed or just sat down and you could pick out the fibers like "loose hairs' on your dog.

Ok so I used to sign up for identity theft protection. I have tried lifelock, trusted id, and protect my id. Well one day I went to Sears to apply for a credit card and I was declined do because I had a fraud alert on my credit reports which I have placed. As i excited finally able to buy some groceries online without leaving my house but it turns into nightmare with Efooddepot.com. 5 REASONS NOT TO SHOP WITH EFOODDEPOT
1) Order was placed and it took them almost 1 week to fulfill (even this i have to call them up to check on my order)

TXU energy = bad news. My wife signed up not knowing that we had a contract. I called the next day to cancel the request before they hooked up the service, then again later in the week to make sure it was cancelled. Then I got a suspicious letter so I called again, and they said, "oh we're hooking up the service today, and I can't stop it now or you'll be without electricity." Before you rush out to add the WORRY FREE SERVICE CONTRACT to your already over charged billing be warned. Have had this contract for 3 years and this past month actually needed to use it due to problems with my water heater. So that is 3 years at $350 per year (over $1000 paid so far) to have them come out and determined why the pilot light went out. Not only were 6 parts missing but several parts were the wrong sizes. I was constantly on the phone with Lifetime's customer service people. Bought a dining table from House & Haven in August 2008, for approx R30K, with a 20 year warranty from sales people who can talk the talk, however just over 2.5 years later the table has been repaired 3-4 times for various reasons, I was sold a 'solid mahogany table' where if a plastic feeding spoon knocks the surface top it DENTS the wood and further on, placing as coffee mug on the tablecloth will burn right through the wood. I have a 5 year old tractor which has a plow to remove the snow. The engine transaxle belt broke. I went to sears in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to get a replacement belt for it. Since Sears closed their Service and Parts store in Fishkill, N.Y. You would think their stores would carry more parts which are important for their tractors to stay running., in my case.
